There's a reason why neck holes are pretty close to the same size no matter what the size of the shirt, except for scoop necks. Back when I was racing cars I had to buy 3X women's scoop necks, because my neck was bigger than my tiny head. Also had to have my button-downs custom made because everything off the rack with a 22 collar the shoulders hung past my elbows. Now that I just ride a bicycle or walk my neck has gone to an 18 collar and the shoulders are pretty close to fitting.
