It's pretty clear that the circus theme was a paid sponsorship by Cirque du Soleil, which feels highly irresponsible to let kids risk their necks for some money. Also got annoyed that the male judge said said Brianna needed to be more of a Cirque clown and less of a circus clown-she hasn't seen the movie yet, so unless she's been to Cirque du Soleil, how's she supposed to know what she should be channeling? Also, maybe it's just me, but I don't think Abby is the one keeping Asia on the show. She always gives her real critiques and gets annoyed she doesn't improve, while the other judges treat her like a perfect little angel who can do no wrong. I think between them and the producers, who like the drama she and her mom brings, Abby is being outvoted. Just my theory. Like, I was routing for her at first because she felt like the underdog, but I figured at some point things would get serious and the fact that she can't dance as well would start to matter. Guess not
