Watching this with you made me remember the joy it brought me when I first saw it on tv. You're right, there are a LOT of episodes (and the show goes down a lot in quality after season 3 imo- I stopped watching pretty soon after they all graduated from HS)...but I think that's just Ryan Murphy's MO. When I go back and watch fave seasons of AHS, I'm always surprised at how many episodes a season has. It's like Buffy and Grey's Anatomy in that, but I don't mind a bit.
