OMG 😂 first the reaction to Alicent wooing the king, and when he was presented with Laena hahahahahah Alicent seemed like the lesser evil LOL Same thing with "will (hightower) present himself (for Rhaenyra)?" LOL and when he said "Prince Aegon" hahahahhahahahahhahahahah bet hightower didn't seem half as awful an option 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2024-11-27 06:23:43 +0000 UTCMatt Smith is such a good actor. Makes it hard for me to hate Daemon. He can say so much without saying a single word! That was NOT real hunting. A true hunter is an ethical hunter. My husband works hard to track deer, and he doesn't arbitrarily k!ll any that he sees. He doesn't shoot mothers with babies, he doesn't shoot young ones. He takes out ones unhealthy or wounded by something else (health of the herd and/or putting them out of their misery) or he shoots healthy ones that will give us a lot of meat. He doesn't chase them down, he waits for them to come to him. A proper hunter does a good enough shot that the animal doesn't even know what happened. This is not just ethical, it makes the meat better, as a chased animal will have adrenaline coursing through its veins and the meat isn't as good. Venison is some of the healthiest meat there is. If you're going to eat meat, wild game is the best, the animal lived free its entire life and ate what God/nature intended.

I’m not a fan of hunting for sport. We hunt for the meat that comes from the animals. I would gladly have an elk steak over a cow steak any day.

2024-11-26 18:42:27 +0000 UTCleanor is rhaenys' (the queen who got snubbed) son so he's a targaryen through her, which is why he can ride a dragon. seasmoke is grey which was helpful as he could hide in the clouds towards the end there! you can see the crabfeeder repeatedly looking up towards the sky for a dragon

Just to point out: the knights sworn to the Kings Guard cannot marry or father children, so Rhaenyra wouldn't be able to choose Sir Criston to marry. Also, Sir Laenor is son of Corlys Velaryon and Rhaenys Targaryen (cousin to the king), so he has a dragon because his mother is a Targaryen.

At this point in time, Ser Criston Cole (the hot one 😆) is assigned as Rhaenyra's personal guard so he has to follow and protect her at all times.

2024-11-26 17:22:09 +0000 UTCon that note, do u have a posting schedule for these because i am anxiously awaiting each post i love this series. i love that you take a nuanced approach to rhaenyra and alicent, so many are quick to love one and hate the other. rhaenyra can be valid in being mad at alicent, while alicent can still be innocent and just following her fathers wishes. so refreshing to see a reactor with that nuance people so quickly choose to hate/love characters without understanding their reasonings

The reason Laenor Velaryon can ride a dragon is because his dad is Corlys (sea snake) yes but his mother is Rhaenys Targaryen (the queen who never was), king viserys’ cousin, so Laenor has Targaryen blood. Velaryon is also a strong family because they are the only other house who came from Valyria (hence the white hair too) but Velaryon on their own are not dragon riders, that’s only Targaryens. This is why it made strategic sense for Viserys to marry Laena (the 12 year old 😭) who is Laenor’s sister.
