loved the reaction, as always! this movie was so wonderfully crafted. it wasn't until the second watch that i picked up on all the water noises (especially when mia's "mom" was around) and how her "mom" slowly started looking more and more like that spirit that she first let in, a woman who appeared to have drowned. i also hadn't picked up on the implication from duckett's brother - that if mia had just stopped using the hand after going over the 90 seconds that spirit would have left her alone, but because she kept using it (to try and save riley, even though i fully believe what they showed her happening to him was a lie, just like they showed her the kangaroo) it's hold on her got stronger while the spirit in riley was getting weaker.
SO well done and the one of the best endings of a horror movie i've ever seen. also asides - hayley's actor (zoe) is nonbinary, trans masc and i love that they used they/them pronouns for them in the movie! also a dingo is a wild dog and one of the only reasons i know this is because oz from buffy was in a band with that in it's name so i looked it up. xD looking forward to more spooky reactions!
