I love hickies too Brad, I agree. The way they portrayed Charlie's eating disorder made me cry. That is exactly how and why I had mine in high school. God this show is so beautiful and well written. Love watching it and you!!

There are a few differences between the show and the comic but I think the show is better. Have not shed tears like the first season which I found so pure and innocent. Regarding Harry, going back to S1 Ep 3, when Nick tells off Harry... I think Harry really looks up to Nick/respects him. He looked hurt when Nick told him off and chased him down later to make sure they were still friends (by interrupting the kiss). I think this is a legitimate effort to change but Nick and Charlie are not sure what is going on yet. Just my thoughts. One extra thought...my French is quite poor but doesn't MON AMOUR translate to My Love. I've seen several reactions and watched the episode multiple time and just realized this.

2023-08-13 02:10:07 +0000 UTCA little something I noticed while watching this episode - the signs on the subway station that Charlie and Nick run to at the end, they say "École du coeur" which means "school of the heart" in French. That's not the name of a real subway station in Paris - the station they're actually in is called École Militaire (and it's closer to the Eiffel tower than the Louvre but that's fine lol). I just thought it was cute that they made signs for the show to change the name of the station :)

I really liked? How the show and books handle Charlie’s mental health because I feel like it’s really realistic, in my experience anyway

2023-08-10 10:55:39 +0000 UTCI think it might depend on the situation when I fainted during a school trip (same reason as Charlie) the teacher just made sure that I was seated, had food and something to drink. When my friend fainted during the same trip she was taken to the hospital because she actually hit her head and she was unconscious longer than I was. So I do think it might depend on whether you hit your head and/or how long you stay unconscious.
