July Suggestion Thread
Added 2020-07-06 19:38:09 +0000 UTCTheme/Idea suggestion thread! I'm not gonna lie, I've been having some kind of crisis of faith with just... what I do/paint lately. It's been hard to find the energy and/or motivation to cultivate the ideas I need to draw stuff. I've been dipping a lot into NSFW work because it's just easier to indulge that right now than it is like, forcing a brain that doesn't want to "produce" anything? I guess it's hard to find a muse when you're stuck indoors and the world is on fire or something. Hoping I can rely on the lot of you for some sparks that will get my mind going though!! TvT
As usual, I don't really have "guidelines" for the suggestion thread but here's what's really helpful to me:
- keep it short and abstract! the more i have to think about it, the better. think of it less like telling me what to draw and more like just giving me a word or phrase to bounce ideas off of, similar to how inktober or other things work! most times just one word is the most helpful thing.
- no fanart! that's not what this is for, sorry
- if it's something similar to what i've done, i've probably already thought of it! stuff like "cyberpunk something at night" et all doesn't super help since I just... do enough of that already aha
- pictures are ok! see something you thought was cool or inspiring? that also works! whatever lets me just brainstorm
- no guarantees I'll pick it! if i use the idea i'll credit you and reply to you in the thread to let you know but i can't take everyone's ideas, sorry!
