My best friend in the entire world introduced me to Game of Thrones roughtly 10 years ago. It's actually the foundation of our friendship, as this show is what we bonded over at the very beginning of it. I always call her "Moon of my Life" and she calls me her "Sun and stars". People who get it, get it. But people who have never seen Game of Thrones always look at us funny when we say it to eachother 😂

2024-06-06 17:56:53 +0000 UTCKevan Lannister doesn't get nearly as much screen time in the show as he does in the books. You can see him suppress a smile at Bronn saying "you wouldn't know him." Tywin is incredibly smart, amazing at devising strategy and statecraft, and logical above all. However, he has no warmth, no sense of humor, and is extremely severe and merciless (though not cruel for fun). Kevan seems like he has all of Tywin's good abilities, perhaps reduced by 15% which is still top tier, but with 25% more of what Tywin lacks. We know that he was decent to Tyrion during Tyrion's childhood which is kind of a litmus test for character horribleness. That's all just the impression I get but I'll admit it's been a while since I read the books (ASOIAF fans correct me if I'm wrong). He's not really interesting enough to make me want to dive into his story but I also feel like, in a different universe, he would have made a decent king.
