The Malfoys weren't running away because they were scared to fight, they were doing what they didn't have the strength to do before - abandoning Voldemort. They managed to avoid Azkaban after the war because they switched sides last minute. They never wanted to follow Voldy, they did it simply out of fear, so after retrieving Draco, they switched sides and left.

The lady in the dark forest checking to see if harry was alive or not was draco malfoys mom...when she asked about her son harry was kind enough to risk blowing his cover to answer/reassure her draco was ok...so she covered for harry and lied to voldemort about him being dead

“dumbledore is a bit of an arse” yes and to make you hate him even more here’s a chunk of story from the books that’s never told in the movies. but basically when he was young dumbledore and this other boy “grindlewald”(implied lover) went on the hunt for the deathly hallows to become super powerful, they both got overly power hungry and grindlewald and dumbledore ended up fighting. and dumbledore’s sister (the one in the painting) ended up caught in the crossfire and dying. so he essentially got his little sister killed

Not sure if its been said, because... too many comments... but Narcissa wasnt asking Draco if Harry was alive, she was asking Harry is Draco was alive and when he said yes, she decided to lie about him being dead (presumably because she saw this relatively innocent boy her sons age fighting for what was right and she only really stuck around in order to protect Draco, which is why he actually becomes a pretty good guy after all of this)

Draco’s mum asks Harry if Draco is alive, she doesn’t ask Draco if Harry is alive, and if you look closely Harry nods slightly. Because Harry did her that favour by telling her Draco is alive she lies to Voldemort and tells him Harry is dead when he isn’t.

I think there's a couple different explanations for how Harry survived the killing curse a second time. But what I always understood in the end was that he had all three of the deathly hallows. He owns the invisibility cloak, he had the allegiance of the elder wand, and Dumbledore left him the resurrection stone. Like Luna's dad said in the last movie having all three makes one the master over death. I also find it poetic that in the story of the three brothers, the final brother "greets death as an old friend" and in this movie, Harry greets death willingly.

I don't know if anyone pointed this out already, but when McGonagall initially fights with Snape in Hogwarts, Snape never counter attacks AND he actually deflects McGonagall's spells to take out the two death eaters standing behind him for her before he yeets out the window. He was fighting for us all along! *sobs*
