Repeating myself.
Added 2023-04-30 04:19:53 +0000 UTCLet me once again state that i will not be pausing EVERYTIME i need to say something during my reactions. I will also say once again, if i don’t get something correct, i’ll either realise in a later episode or see it in the edit.
As irritating as it seems to some of you, I‘m simply not going to be able to understand and catch every little detail on my first watch, that’s just not going to happen. GoT is a very complex show with a lot of characters and stories, trying to make a video entertaining on top of that means some things will get missed.
I’m also not willing to sit down for double the amount of time it takes to film these already extremely long chunks of video just so i can pause every time i have a thought pop in my head.
If you aren’t able to get past that then once again maybe the unedited content isn’t for you.
ps. a few concerns raised in the last instalment are things i either understood (but didn’t articulate properly) or are understood in the next episode. (some not all) so i urge you to potentially wait until i’ve released all three episodes before assuming i completely misunderstood something. 💙

I get the frustration of thinking someone is talking over an important line or detail- but yall have to understand that not everyone watches things the same way and on top of that just because YOU think that one detail or line is so CRUCIAL to whatever hes watching doesnt mean it is actually fundamentally changing his experience of the episode for the most part. Also- I tend to appreciate that he doesn't pause too much cause I want to watch the whole thing with him but I don't have time for doubling the run-time of EVERY video I want to watch of his, just as he ain't got the time to make his vidoes in that manner. If you have time to watch ALL of game of thrones with him AND time for him to double the run time so he can pause before every word he says, not to mention if theres other reactions of his you want to watch on top of that: then, my gosh do you have too much time on your hands. And I say that as someone who already knows that I MYSELF have too much time on my hands and I gotta get more productive in life so please go learn to crochet or something or play kickball. I'll give it a shot too- this message is for everyone's well-being.

Most people DO NOT notice all the details upon first watch, let alone if they're not super fans chronically on the internet, let alone for GoT(coming from an og GoT fan whose watched countless times)... and this can be annoying BUT... I recently found your channel (been bingeing to the point of joining patreon lol) and unlike most reactors you explicitly acknowledge things you might not have in the moment in following videos after editing (aka watching each ep multiple times in actuality+reading comments). Even if you don't realise something in the moment upon first watch you go out of your way to bring up where you stand and to get educated/immersed in the universe of the show beyond superficial watching(aka most people who watch tv). You do such a great job of this, and don't make it seem like a chore you just genuinely care to get invested and have fun for you and us. And because of this... it's not necessary to pause every few seconds to catch every last easter egg or play detective. UGH anyways, hope you continue to be you and do you, love every video and reaction and you're doing great.

That way when you're talking, the people watching still know what's going on because most people don't have the lines memorized for everything they watch. I just thought of this as I was watching the last Harry Potter movie because there were some parts where I couldn't remember what the characters were saying in it and I couldn't hear with you talking over it. I love the comments that you make, that's what makes you fun to watch, but it'd also be nice to be able to read the lines in the show/movie while you are talking.

He may read it or not, but either way at least you get your point across without being rude. People watch shows in different ways, they may pause and go back to rewatch the last few seconds, or they may just not catch certain details on first watch. So many people have started watching Brad for many reasons! And one of those reasons is his hilarious on the spot reactions!! Brad I love love your content don't ever change unless you yourself feel you WANT to!! Watching these unedited versions is like watching my favourites with a friend. Then on my 3rd watch I tried it with subtitles and it changed everything and it became one of my favorite shows! That’s something else people need to realize is that even though we can’t see the subtitles we know you’re using them so even if you’re talking you can still see what’s being said. Plus with editing and people filling you in you’re getting all the information. Just keep doing you, you’re by far my favorite reactor and I always look forward to your videos ❤️

Because I keep extensive notes about the characters, locations, etc. I always look at the map and pause and rewind if I miss something. That’s how I like to watch it but I totally understand how anyone who’s just casually watching would get confused a lot and miss stuff. And you are commentating on top of that so it’s completely understandable
