If I’m not paying how am I here? 🤡

Kimmie🌻

That's really not necessary, for one you're not even a paying patreon which is obviously fine but don't come at me just bc you don't like me asking about content I'm paying for.

I guess if you call bugging him in last couple comment sections a supporter 🥴

Kimmie🌻

i don't think joel was a combat veteran, i think that's tommy but i agree he should've left the damn thing in

Ariana Mitchell

I’m a paying supporter too get off your high horse

Nicholas Carson

Patience, no one likes to be bugged about doing something they’re supposed to enjoy :/

I hope Pedro gets nominated for an Emmy. That monolog was so well-acted. He keeps having panic attacks because he's starting to see Ellie more like a daughter and he's afraid of failing her like he did Sarah. I literally said, "No!" when Joel pulled out the piece of the baseball bat he was stabbed with. You NEVER do that. He should know better. He was taught basic medical procedures in the military. My brothers are veterans and they were taught not to pull out something you're stabbed with.

But Harry Potter

i liked this episode focused on joel and ellie's relationship. by the end, it's completely different than the start of the episode now that she's really all joel has left

This episode in particular makes me so proud to be Canadian! I’m not from Alberta, but god my country is beautiful 😍. Also Brad, I think you’re forgetting how big North America is. They are travelling almost completely across the country, which is like the equivalent of walking through 4 or 5 European countries. It takes over a week to drive to across canada and they’ve been walking since Kansas city.

This was my initial thought as well, but I saw another comment about how the bat is far from clean so keeping it in could lead to infection, and he’s about to hop on a horse with lots of jostling so the bat could move and cause more internal damage. I think this is a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation.

This ep shows a critical part of their relationship and I’m so happy with how it came out, they kept all the lines from the game and the acting was amazing. They portrayed the characters feelings perfectly 🥲

Kimmie🌻

They say that so professionals can do it but there aren’t any in this situation so honestly no need for him to keep it in, that’s too painful 😭

I didn’t think this was a “meh” episode, I thought the acting in this one was next level. The scene between Tommy and Joel was so moving (Pedro was outstanding) and the one between Joel and Ellie was heart breaking. So many little nuggets that you catch upon rewatching. Definitely a great episode, IMO, can’t wait for next week’s!

I was pleasantly surprised by this episode. Nothing that I thought was going to go wrong happened. That's rare for me. Joel teaching Ellie to use the rifle with the scope wasn't wasting bullets. She needs to know these things to survive in this world of The Last Of Us.

when does next harry potter comes out :d

LOL The procreation comment was AMAZING lol I know! I’m angry he had time to do all this but couldn’t take time to tell Joel he was okay. He could have stayed home with Tess

I love the older Indigenous woman in the beginning!!!! I don’t know if she’s purposefully being hilarious but I laughed hard at her making them soup lol

I love how they are doing this adaptation!!! They are staying true enough to the game, but still finding clever ways to deepen the plot and give more insight on characters. I love the representation too! It makes total sense that they would come across Native Americans, but those characters weren’t in the game. I also like how they showed the town Tommy was in. In the game, they basically just stumble upon the settlement and its a lot more primitive than it is in the show. It’s cool to see a settlement that is fairly civil and thriving (with the exception of some communication troubles) without excessive violence, as there weren’t any like that in the game. I am sooooo excited to see how they adapt the rest of this, and I can’t wait to see your reactions. It’s refreshing getting opinions and points of view from someone that knows nothing about the game! 🫶🏽
