Gunk - and since the convo was going so quick in your live stream, you should consider watching The summer I turned pretty and The Wilds! ( I would love if you did reviews for both, only one and two seasons, respectively) but in terms of what you would like about them- TSITP has an amazing soundtrack loads of miss Taylor swift, and it’s more than just a girl who is stuck between two boys. And the wilds - think Lost but present day and with a lot of girl boss energy and LGBTQ+ relationships. Let’s hope you read this- Brad give it some sort of a reaction if you did so I know I got the message across 😂

Will being taken in season one almost stunted his growth compared to his friends. Because now he just wants to go back to how it was BEFORE the worst time of his life. He just craves for it to be back to the way it was. Its incredibly sad. Hes just trying to hold on to his childhood a little longer bc he knows things are going to change. Hes not ready. He feels left behind. & his friends aren't totally at fault either. They just dont understand it from his side. Im sure if they knew how deep it was they would act differently. These kids love each other genuinely. This is just my opinion. How I interpreted it all. Im not saying its fact at all. When Will destroys Castle Byers it honestly destroyed me. My heart breaks for him.

not the will byers slander 😭 he hasn’t had the same opportunity to grow up like his friends have because he was stuck in the upside down and then possessed by the mind flayer. he’s lost so much time and just wants to hang out with his friends and feel normal by doing the thing they used to love doing together and what brought them together. he’s also dealing with a lot of internal conflict 🧚🏻‍♂️✨🌈 he is my favorite character in the whole show even though he doesn’t get the screen time he deserves. he’s just gone through so much and deserves so much better 😭

Gunk. Robyn is great. She works really well with Steve. Oh any the thing about Will has been hinted at for a long time about his sexuality those hints and speculation carry on into the next season. I honestly feel for will more than anyone in the show, he went through so much trauma at such a young age and now that everyone’s a little older he kind of missed out on a big piece of his childhood. I honestly think he is just trying to reclaim some of the childhood he missed with dnd but no one really cares because they’ve grown up. Which isn’t mike or lucas’ fault it’s just a little sad to see him go from the main focus to just being thrown to the side that quickly. Anyways, GUNK

(I'm so sorry about the long comment I just always cry this episode. Also know I'm not the first to say this) I feel so bad for Will because this is the first year since everything began that he actually doesn't have anything life ruining going on and when he finally got back to being able to do the things he loves, all of his friends have girlfriends who they value more than their time with him and he's the only person in the group that has no one. I don't blame Mike or Lucas or anything for growing up, but as supportive as they are of him he went through something none of them can understand. Him and El have been put through so much that no one can relate to, but El at least has people outside of her family to talk to, meanwhile Will is in a situation where everyone is preoccupied with girls and romance and because that's the only thing they wanna deal with right now (even including his brother), it means no one can relate to him, and he can relate to no one either, so even though now he's as close to free as he's gotten so far, he still feels incredibly alone and left behind. Sorry again, I just love Will Byers. I love your reactions of course! Just have a special attachment to this boy. Edit-in the process of me being weird and attached to Will Byers I totally forgot about Gunk so...Gunk

Gunk! D&D is an awesome game, really. And Will wanting to play D&D is so sweet and sad to me, because he's lost the last two years of his youth to so much trauma. I understand that his friends have grown up and are into other things, but I just feel so bad for Will because I wish he had friends who could understand what he needs, too. He just wants to be a normal kid right now and do the stuff he loves, the stuff he couldn't do the last couple of years.

It warms my heart to hear you say you’re protective over your sisters and mom. I know my brother and dad feels the same about me. I am the same about my brother too. My parents got divorced when I was 13 and my mom passed away a year after that so I became like the ultimate little sister/daughter for those two. I was the “women” of the Bratton house until I was 17x Now my dad has an amazing wife who’s become a mom to me and funnily enough I’m just as protective over her too even though she’s a badass bitch. It has been heavily implied since season one that Will is/ may be gay. At first, it was ppl just stereotyping him because he's different, but as the seasons go on it becomes more clear that it may be true. Also with Will being upset, what many of them forgot is that Will lost a little over a year from going missing to all the mind flayer stuff so he's basically trying to make up for all that time, he wants to spend time with his friends like they used to.
