Subbed just for these reactions and I definitely recommend the Swedish audio. :) The english dub, despite some of the cast doing their parts, doesn't capture the feeling/emotion of the show as well as the original audio as the recordings are done months after filming.

2022-05-17 09:31:43 +0000 UTCThe cast have only just wrapped & finished filming season 2, and the show still has it's entire post-production process to put the episodes together still left to go which could take months - so I think it's more likely to come out sometime Sept-Dec this year. The only confirmation we have for when it'll come out is that it will be this year.

In fact, it's pretty much the inverse in that Young Royals is all angst with a few moments of sweetness, while Heartstopper is all sweetness with a (very) few moments of angst. I think Heartstopper may have spoiled me for other queer stories now. Haha! It's so refreshing to see queer characters happy and enjoying life and love vs hiding who they are and living lies.

2022-05-17 02:06:29 +0000 UTCEdvin and Omar did their own dubs so I think it’s kosher. The other english voice actors are pretty meh. I would however recommend English subtitles so we can understand texts and news headlines.

2022-05-17 02:03:30 +0000 UTCI personally prefer the original audio but you know whatever works for you and your process, but I definitely think the English subs are necessary so you can get the translation of their texts, they don't stop using them as a method for storytelling

Like the others said, the original swedish dub is way way better, and with english subtitles you'll get the translation to all the texts :) You'll be blown away by the acting in this series and the drama and stakes!! very excited! :D Oh and Simon is pronounced Sea-mawn, pretty much haha and willhelm like Vilhelm :)
