It's a beautiful and touching moment, yes, and it warms my insides, even as I'm aware I'm watching blatant emotional manipulation. When they kiss the music's volume doubles, brilliant beams of light radiate from their heads, rainbow colors everywhere, confetti coming from nowhere. I'm filled with warmth, but also grinning at how shameless the manipulation is. I know I'm being MADE to feel wonderful, but I do feel wonderful so I don't mind. I'm like, "Come on! Come on!! Manipulate me!!!!!"

Such a beautiful scene! 💖 I think btw that Nick is just pretending to be okay with his "mates" again to get rid of them. If he would argue with them, they wouldn't leave him and Charlie alone. And he has enough to deal with in this moment...

2022-05-05 12:20:53 +0000 UTCI mean with nick and his "friends" I think you have to understand that he's just 16 (I think?) and he's been friends with them for years.. like these are his friends, he doesn't have any other friends! and when you're in school and this young, its reaaallllly hard to just cut all your friends off like that. I hung out with people I didn't really like back then either because I didn't really have other options at that point.. and he's in such a state of confusion and figuring himself out like everything is changing for him and at that early stage I think its very understandable that he just pretends like everything is fine again with those people

2022-05-05 10:06:29 +0000 UTChi lesbian here lol i wasn't out until uni but at school it didn't feel like lesbians existed, there were a handful of bisexuals and gay people but no lesbians that i had heard of. in uni it's similar, i know one lesbian and she's not in my year or my course we just met by chance in a society. i think that because wlw is so sexualised it makes me feel uncomfortable when talking about my sexuality, it's strange and i wish i would get over it tbh
