-New scenes. This will be a nightmare event along side flesh wall and spider huggers.

You can press f1 in game to view it. This softlocks the game, as there's no free roaming to return to yet.

I'll try to make some kind of gif variant for pixiv later.

Not much else to say here. I always wonder if I've went too far or not far enough when I make these. 


-Added a shopping mechanic. Currently it's kinda superficial, as none of the items really do anything meaningful. You can press f5 to check the store area, but the area is bare bones at the moment. I've left collision blocks as not to waste anyone's time.

Money(lets call it credits) is a stat now.

Whether items go into your inventory or storage is purely at my discretion at the moment. i.e potatoes will go into the fridge, because it just has no purpose to carry them around, while a can of soda will stay in your inventory, because it's usable. I will implement transferring items between storage and inventory when more than just a fridge becomes necessary.


-Clothes now track character's breast and hip sizes. +/- 1 deviation from the character's sizes brings up a message that the top/bottom feels loose/tight. Further deviation makes it unwearable. This is to encourage the player to try different clothes, pay attention to money, force into certain situations, and make body changes feel more impactful.

Purchased clothes have the size in their description where appropriate: AA,A,B,C,D,DD,G,H,J and 30,36,30,32,34,36,38,42,46. It's hard to equate these to real world standards so take my interpretation with a grain of salt.

At the moment, MC doesn't know how measure self, so will have to guess and eyeball it, which leads into the next point.


-Added clothes buying mechanic. This functions differently from regular items. You can pick up clothes the same way you buy regular items. Instead of selecting a quantity to buy, you select the size. You can then use the item(s) in the dressing room to try it on or use it next to the store employee to buy it. When bought, a bag is added to the inventory, which will contain all bought clothes. This can be unpacked at home to add all clothes to the wardrobe, or anywhere else to make a mess.

Hope this isn't too contrived.

The selection is currently just a mock-up, until I figure out what you should be able to buy and when and what the naming scheme should be. You can press f6 to check the store. 


-Added 4 more bottoms for the isometric view. Affects all hip sizes and clothes. Theoretically compatible with pregnancy.

I've never intended to be use the pose across the game past the squid rabbit scene and banshee scene, hence the original looked awkward. 

Because of this, variant 2 and 3 will appear across the world instead of original variant 1. The smaller hips sizes are also noticeably smaller to match other poses. See 001.png for reference

Anyway, if you care enough to see, F5 to toggle isometric pose. F6 to cycle variants.

In fact, I just went ahead and enabled some debug features. Might as well.

You can cycle clothing with numpad: layer 1 - 1,2,3; layer 2: 4,5,6; layer 3: 7,8,9

If you hold Num0 while pressing num keys, it cycles through body parts instead.

Some functionality is tied to actually worn clothes, so there may be clipping or other weird inconsistencies.


There are other minor changes that I didn't keep track of.

As far as the roadmap goes, cooking mechanic needs to be done. This is somewhat crucial at this point, to make balancing stats possible.

Following that, I hope to finish up the 2 maps and interconnect them with the mansion area, so there's finally some semblance of gameplay.

Story has kinda hit an impasse, as there needs to be a masturbation animation. Turns out it's pretty hard to do with the semi top down perspective, even if I try making a new poses. Maybe just fade to black as filler for now?


Either way, let's go with May for all of that. Probably wishful thinking, but I have a fair amount free time in April. Sorry this keeps looking like a tech demo.

That all makes sense, it's fun to theorize with a game like this. If you do add a system to add items, I would finally have an excuse to practice pixel art :^)

There's still a collision bug if you walk immediately to the right after class. If you try to cut through the desk to the right it traps you.

Items would be relatively easy. Placing them across the world would just need the x and y location and location name. Which I guess is a problem, though I could ad a counter in the menu to track that in game.

I'm not sure how practical that it. The sprite sheets are a mess. Everything used to be standard back in the demo. Almost every layer was a 150x256 image, but I've been steadily removing blank space and manually setting draw positions and bundling up relevant sprites to the same sheets, etc to minimize texture page bloat. Custom dialog wouldn't be too difficult to implement, but would require knowledge of variables that govern what conversations appear and npc specific variables to utilize. Like at the start of the room, a script checks for conditions and room id and loads the appropriate dialog for appropriate NPCs. If there was actual interest I wouldn't mind making some documentation. Custom animations are completely out of the question. Custom NPC wouldn't be too different from dialog. Custom monsters would need to have a barebones basic sprite for this to work. I mean it shouldn't have layers. One sprite(animation) per direction. As far as I'm concerned we're just fantasizing. I'm skeptical this will ever get that kind of attention.

The new scene and clothing system are great! I did experience a few crashes with the same error report Lithoboli posted, but it seems like you know what's causing it. Btw, once the game is fleshed out, will we be able to add mods? I'm sure myself and a few others would be interested in adding different monsters or items to the game. Either way, thank you for keeping us updated!
