Update

Heya folks. You may notice there's no story this week! I have officially run out of work to show right now. I am still writing - I have 3 things on the go right now, but none of them are really in a finished, fully showable state, and to a certain extent may never be since the people I'm doing them for tend to prefer to keep their TF stuff largely private. In addition, I have managed to obtain a day job that may result in less time and ability to focus on writing. Still, I don't want to leave you people with absolutely nothing, so I am going show some small excerpts with identifying details cut out.

First is a trade for a close friend. inspired by me watching Amphibia this year, this is a story about them being invited (by me) to a mysterious, amphibian themed spa...and turning into an male anthro toad. I haven't actually gotten to the TF-y part - there's a lot of build up in this one - but it's fun doing a small bit of worldbuilding for the eventual toad-y world they'll end up in.

(you may notice the female pronouns - not to let any potential FTM advocates down but this is a concession i only make for people who i am very good friends with, so please do not request it of me for commissions)

Second is a gift for a friend as part of a Secret Santa being held in my Discord server. Gonna be a bit more cagey with this one - the only clue I'll give you is that the trigger is a mysterious rose...

And finally is something...not related to TF at all! Apologies to those who are here for it, but it's not the only thing I write about.

If you follow me on social media at all or have spent any time in Discord server proximity to me, you may have noticed I tend to be fairly open about my opinions of media, positive and negative, and a show that recently gained a lot of my ire was Ubisoft's Captain Laserhawk - a show that held such promise, and then let me down in every possible way it could. It's been a long time since I felt so strongly upset about a piece of media that I felt like I had to get something out about it...and the only solution was to write a script for a video review, obviously.

I've wanted to do video essay stuff for a while and I guess if this is the thing that gets me fired up enough to do it, then I'll take it. I have a lot to say about this...fucking show, and given how the critical response to it seems to be largely "pretty good", I guess I'm the one who has to take a stand against the positive reception to a show that I think uh. Sucks!

Like it matters at all, lol.

Anyway, that's what I've got for this week. I'm gonna go through some earlier private stories and check if I can't edit them to be acceptable for Patreon publishing. Hope you guys have a good week!
