I'm all about a female MC and when I hear a Male MC is a thing, I think that your gonna have to split your time creating content for the two MC's. This means getting updates for Grace Mei is gonna take longer now because development time has to go into two main characters. This just makes me a bit nervous. If you haven't done anything with the Male MC concept yet, I'd say please don't lol. It is your game and your vision, I just don't care for Male MC's when there is a Female involved. I hope I made sense, I feel like I rambled a bit.
