It's hard to go back to drawing after a while of not doing it. But that's the thing about work responsibilities, the take priority.
Anyways, this one has a funny story behind it: An IRL friend of mine whom I met a few years back, as we were getting to know each other, I mentioned I did furry commissions (just omitted the part of what kind). That piked her interest. Over time, we started confiding more and more on each other, so got to a point where she asked again of what I drew, and very calmly explained the nature of my drawings. She immediately started laughing when I showed her some of my pieces. One time when I got to show her some of the Stitch related pics I had done, she did mention that I should draw him in his Elvis outfit from the movie, because fat Elvis trope and what not. It's only until now that I made time to actually draw it. She told me that she's not into it, but finds my drawings cute and funny. Her birthday is in early June, and Stitch Day is on the 26th so what better day to kick off June than with a humongous Stitch.
Don't worry, I've still got something planned for Stitch day. In the mean time
