Summer Update
Added 2022-05-16 22:39:40 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
Hope you're doing well! Over here things are finally winding down a bit. Today is the last day I have to do school work, at least until August, so it gives me some time to rest for a bit, but also get started on other ideas I want to work over the summer months.
First of, I want to thank you all for your continued support. Sometimes I get a bit of impostor syndrome, given I feel I'm not providing back enough content. And it being in mix with my teaching job, so again, thank you so so much for bearing with me. I hope these upcoming projects make up for it.
Here's a small snippet of what's in store:
May
I still have a sketch I need to finish. Was trying a very massive and taught body shape some time back, which eventually decided to make it into Melvin the elephant. The body shape's mostly done, just need to clean up the face. Then ink and color the whole thing. This is going to be more in the vein of Sulley and Judy: single character drawings with no real background to them.
June
Here's where the real fun starts. The next couple months, instead of doing a full character piece, I decided to try my hands at doing an actual comic. Nothing too extensive, just something around 3-4 pages long to test the waters. The main character here is going to be Simba. On the first days of June, I'll give you more information regarding this project. Also, since on June 26th is Stitch day, I plan to do a WG drive featuring our favorite blue alien. The main reason behind the drive is due to this year there is a high probability that my old 1st gen iPad Pro is loosing support from Apple. I got it second hand from a friend back in early 2018, right before the pandemic started. That's my main tool for creating art, and also work tool in school. So want to be a bit ahead of the curve, instead of Apple springing a surprise on me.
July
Still be working on the Simba comic as well as the regular single character pics. Also, I just hit 3,000 followers on Twitter so I will do an event over on the blue bird site during this month to celebrate. Be on the lookout!
That's pretty much what I have planned. Hope you like it and would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much once again.
Take care!

Thanks Joey! Now, to be quite honest, I still don't know if the comics will become a main stay, but it's something l've been wanting to do for a while, and I want to believe I now have the tools to make out something half decent.

Hope to remember to check Twitter for the Stitch drive, I've been pretty awful at staying consistent with checking it the past year. Don't want to miss out in supporting for this one! Especially if it helps fund for school equipment as well! Looking forward to the upcoming projects and even more excited for what the comics will involve as a new endeavor!
