Magellan the Dragon
Added 2022-04-09 18:00:03 +0000 UTCWas going through the shows I used to watch in my childhood for inspiration, and this show came up. If you're unaware of it, it was called "Eureka's Castle", produced for Nickelodeon originally airing between 1989 and 1991. I think I probably saw it on reruns.
The show was about some puppet characters that live inside a giant's music box castle and its protagonist was the titular Eureeka, a sorceress in training. Magellan is supposed to be the castle's dragon, but he's so kind he wouldn't scare anyone away, hahaha. That's why I decided to make him more "friend shaped".
Haven't decided if I'm gonna finish it or not, but hope you like it. Any comments are more than welcome.

Likewise. For me, it was a show I thoroughly enjoyed. While looking up refs for Magellan, I found out that his puppeteer, Noel McNeal, went on to be the performer and voice of Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House.
