Melvin sketches

Due to new food regulation laws here in Mexico (And this is true), many mascots had to be removed from packaging. So basically they're out of a job. But as punishment for promoting sugary and high calorie foods for children, they must now eat that very same product. We'll end up with several bloated food mascots here.... hehehehe.
Now, Melvin here is going to be the main star of the show. For those unfamiliar with him, he's the mascot for Chocolate Rice Krispies here in Mexico. We don't have the elf trio you guys have in the States. With these sketches was trying to get familiarized with the character as well as trying a few body shapes here and there, and a sort of layout thumbnail for the piece. Since this is going to be a challenging picture, I'll make use of 3d software to block the scene. Those behind the scenes images and well as the full picture will be posted here, at the start of next month.
