2025-02-05 23:06:03 +0000 UTCthanks for doing the thing i said!! if you want to keep with the simpsons thing you guys could watch a simpsons hit and run playthrough (probs w/o commentary) or more 90s (it's common consensus that seasons 2-8ish are the best) simpsons clips maybe. if not, family guy or american dad (maybe futurama?) clips wld be good. or s'more science videos like scishow or tom scott, ooh or answer in progress (cool canadian stem-y channel) -- and to answer your question about when the simpsons takes place, mika, the simpsons has been on since dec 1989 and has always taken place in the year that it currently is (minus flashbacks and future eps); it's on a "floating timeline".. so that clip with the egg stuff (w/ the "'60s vibes") took place when it aired. oh and with the megaphones in a line, no nothing like what did in the show would happen because the hardware and whatnot in each of the megaphones can only amplify the sound so much; the resulting amplified sound wouldn't be THAT loud, it'd just be really distorted or there'd be crazy feedback. i was kinda talking for a while oops (this is not therapy time lmao) i just like cartoons 😭
