Spoiler Alert, theory time: I might sound stupid because I've only ever seen a lot of these WoRs once so some of the details didn't stick out to me in the past but coming back after so long and after volume 9 really shows the forethought in some of these details. The thing I wanted to talk about is the King of Vale, who was probably Oz, having a crown, sceptre and sword. Now since we all know you can't have all 4 relics in the same place, was he using three of them to end the war? If so, why was only the crown and sword in gold or is this implying that it was only two relics and the "sceptre" was the cane? I doubt we'll ever get a real answer to this.

KINGDOM OF VALE Capital city: Vale Home to Beacon Academy Continent: Sanus Notable features: Emerald Forest, Forever Fall Forest, Mountain Glenn (defunct), Island of Patch (Ruby and Yang's home; hence why Qrow talks about raising a family there) KINGDOM OF MISTRAL Capital city: Mistral Home to Haven Academy Continent: Anima Notable features: diverse terrain, derelict settlements due to Grimm and bandits, and other things that are spoilers for now KINGDOM OF ATLAS Capital city: Atlas Home to Atlas Academy Continent: Solitas Notable features: formerly Kingdom of Mantle, with the city of Mantle living literally in the shadow of Atlas; icy tundra dominates the landscape, also there will be a focus on Mantle/Atlas later on in show KINGDOM OF VACUO Capital city: Vacuo Home to Shade Academy Continent: Sanus Notable features: vast desert and wasteland, very few permanent settlements, no formal government; you can learn more about Vacuo in the novels by E.C. Myers that follows Team CFVY - "After the Fall" and "Before the Dawn" which I highly recommend to anyone interested in the wider lore of RWBY re: Ghira and the Belladonnas The Jungle Book was inspiration for some of the chief Faunus characters. In this case, Ghira is Bagheera, the panther. Kali is a nod to a Hindu deity. So yes, Blake absolutely had feline traits from both parents. re: SDC So far, this is the most direct info we get regarding Nicholas Schnee, but if you piece together what you learn about the Schnee family, you can see the illusions... Nicholas Schnee - Jolly Old Saint Nick aka Santa Claus Jacques Gele - Jack Frost Winter Schnee - Jadis the White Witch Weiss Schnee - Snow White, literally how her name translates in German re: the Great War You can safely assume the King of Vale was indeed Ozpin - or a former Ozcarnation. The green is on the mark, but he also wields a scepter that looks awfully like his cane ;)
