2025-11-12 04:26:42 +0000 UTCI honestly don't think Wednesday knows how to handle the feelings involved in *caring* about someone. So her description of the Enid character in her book is as much her lying to herself so she won't have to deal with them as anything else. I hesitate to say it, but they seem to be portraying her as someone on the autism spectrum - "hesitate," because these days too many shows go "we need a quirky character, let's call them autistic." And, as an aside, why would someone who's half wolf have trouble with fresh roadkill?

They didn't want to come off as cheap knockoffs of each but also had no rehersal time because they were filming 2 other episodes. The only practice they had was on their own time studying scenes from season 1 and self tapes they made of themselves for the other to watch. They both said they freaked out when they learned about the episode and Jenna had to literally calm Emma down.

It also plays into a fan theory I'll get into once you've seen the final episode. As for why no one figured the switch out. It's just chalking up to people thinking its Wednesday going crackers or the affects of her head trauma. Yes it's silly but it's a silly premise so why not. A yes it's established in season 1 that Ravens and Doves are the two extremes of psychics. Wednesday, Hester and Ophelia are Ravens. Mortica is a Dove.
