Interesting…the illusion Emerald uses as bait for Autumn looks like a younger version of herself. Jaune with Pyrrha: he is really trying to say the right thing. Unfortunately he does not have the same fact she does, or where her mind is going. She’s now in love with him, put by telling her that the woman he knows would never let anything stand in the way of that destiny,…well that’s an act that could very well rewrite the very person she is…and what she has with Jaune.

It isnt just giving the authority figures the idiot ball as usually happens in frame jobs of good characters in fiction. People who know Yang are just looking at it from PTSD or something similiar. Which a general like Ironwood will be extremely aware of even if he didnt personally experience it. Blake's questions woth her own personal experience of trusting someone and then having that trust abused makes complete sense.

2025-09-07 22:02:30 +0000 UTCFun note related to your Ruby being Dyslexic head cannon: I have kind of always gotten the vibe that she is Neurodivergent, and I have sort of head cannoned for a while that she is Autistic (like me). It is very fun seeing different perspectives and takes on that part of Ruby. ❤️
