I have been excited for you to finally get to the reveal that Flora is sapphic. I am so glad our sapphic rep in the main cast is for once an old woman and love the idea that Flora is that cool sapphic aunt trope. Thought coolness is debatable from this episode XD Not her best. Also I think the Jentry and Kit scene is romantic because he is a creature. I love that aspect of it. XD

She may no longer see Jentry as just a "receptacle" but she has done some incredibly shady shit and a lifetime of deceit is catching up with her. The skin painting scene... agreed. Disregard the more complicated aspects of their relationship and it could be romantic. I dunno how I'd feel watching somebody paint my "base layer" though. Especially if I thought they'd been stalking me. Sapphic Gugu jumpscare! The statement that "we need Villains too." brings to mind how so many villains in the 80s and 90s were queer coded, but I'm pretty sure that was more to target the LGBTQIA+ community rather than a coincidence.
