2:35 "Here in Duckberg, life is like a hurricane."
I'm surprised you didn't catch that reference to the theme song.

The next three episodes will be quite interesting. You might want to consider leaving the themesong in for the next video's edits. You'll see why. ;)

Why did Mosco turn into a elk near the end?

a patreon comment section is not the place to "call out gen z" which is just proving you're an old man that let your life pass you and now you're blaming the younger generation for it, simply embarrassing my dude.

We do see plenty of bad mothers in fiction, but there's rarely anything between perfect paragons of virtue and horrible abusive monsters. Della genuinely loves her children and wants to do what's best for them, but struggles to actually do that. That's a much rarer thing to see in fiction.

I find Della to actually be super interesting as a mother figure. Mothers are typically pretty revered in fiction, and are portrayed as these almost 'perfect' ideals of kindness and patience and making the right choices. Depending on the story that works well, but it's seen so often it's also a bit boring. I really like how flawed Della is. That she is spunky and adventurous and has to learn how to be a better parent. She wants to give her kids all the support and affection that she hadn't been able to give them - because of her own mistake - so the guilt of that makes it even harder for her, I'd imagine.

Someone else has probably commented it as well, but the western episode when scrooge is telling the story about Goldie, we see Gyro using the timetub in the background.
Also, I love and hate the complexity of this episode and Louie and Della's interaction. It's so painful to watch but also Louie's line about wondering where he got that behavior from is so valid. Can't wait to see the next reaction.

"I saw how the world ends; it was neat, see you there soon." Is how you justify keeping Launchpad around.

Remembers timetub from list, not from seeing it in the old West episode

at the 7:15 mark LaunchPad is as useless as Gen Z

I think the best part of the "wonder where I got it" scene: LAUNCHPAD realized that it was the wrong thing to say. How bad do you have to mess up for Launchpad to realize the mistake
