Also for Steven Universe, we got a bit a bit of an Owl House Situation where the ending was rushed due to them not giving the show the actual length it needed and deserved. There was a particular episode they wanted left out and Rebecca Sugar said: F*ck u! And put it in. There was supposed to be expansion and exploration on certain characters that we unfortunately lost out on. I believe they did a fantastic job with what they were given.

The initial joke with the Ruby names is that they were all body locations ending in -y, and Doc's Gem was on her chest. However, 'Chesty' is a slang term for someone having a... rather large bosom... so Steven calls her 'Doc' from Snow White instead.

You enjoy a with a garbage plot that should been used for an episode at best not a Movie, the gems losing their memories, Spinel being so annoying I couldn't even feel sorry for her. Pink being a bitch again serious was that the best Rebecca could up with. Rose Quartz is probably the most controversial character in the show. She's always wanted to do good, but as we learn in this one, she's also done terrible things (Shatter/Murder a diamond) and good intentions don't always absolve you of a crime. Her complexity is honestly so fascinating and I can't wait for you to learn more about her.

@ Caitlin totally agree. I liked future when it first aired and i was a younger teen but ive rewatched it since then and thought about how brilliant it really was. i understood it better as an adult

Have you tried watching more than once? I feel it’s for an older age base and they are character driven stories rather than plot driven like Steven. Honestly some of my favorite parts of this series are from future and some from the movie. They show the affects of the trauma Steven has gone through (if you see that I commented this exact thing to someone else no you don’t)
