The Dondai Supremo is a reference to the Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno featured in "Initial D", and also shows some design inspirations from the AE82 Corolla and the Volkswagon Golf, and the interior is inspired by the fourth generation Honda Civic. This is all according to the wiki. I don't know cars. When Kofi comments "When pizza's on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime!", that's a reference to the old Bagel Bites commercials.
