Her poor mother, indeed. It's a good thing Johanna doesn't have a "find my iPhone" method of tracking Hilda, because the stress would probably kill her. "WHAT IS SHE DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN?!?"

It can also explain why he is so reckless for attention without a care for i'm touching much as for the consequences of his actions, becuase he can just change into someone else.

As for race (I don't think it's ever specified in the series) but I'd imagine Earth Genasi, or if the DM would let me play some kind of Dryad.

She clearly spent years essentially alone raising Hilda, so I wonder how much of a social network she has left.
