It’s such character development that she eats for the first time in that moment just for him, lovely couple goals 💕💕

But I swear, I thought you were miming in the first part of the video I couldn't hear a thing. Hope you figure it out one way or another! With how Garnet described her future vision, as a river that spreads out and branches, and she tries to find the one that will most likely happen, she probably is seeing 'too much' because there are so many other folks' decisions involved. Who's getting sent, what do they do, where do they go, do they ask for help, do they go solo, etc. And you can surprise her, because SHE's the one trying to think of what is most likely. So she does have biases. Kind of like when you know someone, and get a feeling they would react this way or that way during a situation? It's like that. Not nearly as useful as first seems.

And the rest of the series is Greg trying to connect with his robot son. 😔 Whose brain is the internet 😔😔😔 Also a will-they-won't-they romance arc with Mayor Dewey and Pearl so GET READY FOR THAT

This creates the effect of two tape recordings playing simultaneously, but with one tape player going slightly slower than the other. Because one of the playback speeds is slower, the distance between the two “recordings” will continue to increase, which can create a swooshing effect similar to a spinning fan blade or even a jet engine" (From a master class page I'd source it, but I think the last time I left a link my post got flagged).

(or course it having video mixed in was the real problem but...)

If she doesn't know what to look for or she's specifically looking for the wrong thing then there are too many possibilities for her to narrow down. Rather than actually "seeing the future" maybe think of it like a computer program that's really, really good at making predictions. The predictions are only as accurate as the data you put into it. Garnet's future vision is effected by her own preceptions and assumptions.

The end credits of "The Message" start out normal, but the music suddenly cuts out and becomes static, and the end credits for "Political Power" is just the static progressively getting louder. I think this is the static from the TV after Lapis' message ends. It gives a haunting feeling of being left with Lapis' final words and the lingering white noise.

Season one just hits different to me even after seeing the whole series, the tension that's built up is so deep.

She doesn't know how has the technology advanced in Homeworld since she has been on Earth, so there is no way for her future vision to show her weapons that she is not aware exist.
