I'm a trans man and just wanted to say I bind with tape from Monday -fridays then weekends I take it off with a type of oil that helps it come off without getting any blisters but I will say if you decide to use tape I know it's tempting but do not put the tape around your whole chest cut it into strips and round the edges and use one strip for one side and the same with the other one you cut but every chest is different so it will take some practice nobody gets it perfectly first try hopefully that does help for any trans or people who just wanna bind out there oh and always put some sort of covers that isn't sticky on main part of chest before the strips and always have a shower first before you put it on and after you take it off to get any excess off

Oh, Jinx is going to be SUCH a fun aunt!

2024-11-19 03:01:44 +0000 UTCCan we get a moment of respect and appreciation for the writers and creators of Arcane and the amount of detail that they put into the show, especially when they recall small moments and sayings. When we see Vi at the beginning of the episode, she spirals and her spirit and body break down. In season 1, Vi told Jinx that the only thing that kept her going was the thought of getting back to her. And in season 2 episode 3 “Finally got the name right” Vi says “My sister is gone, There’s only Jinx now”. Until the end of the episode, Vi has lost everything and everyone she cared about. Vi is seen as a protector and defender and when Vi loses those characteristics, we see her lose herself and begin drinking and participating in self-harm, showing she has nothing left to defend and fight for thus having no purpose, and uses self-harm as a means to feel like she has some control and purpose in her life. Adding real raw emotions, making Vi, that more relatable.

With how important family, and especially siblings, are to the show, I think she was Vander and Silco's sister in the way that they were brothers. That's why she tells them first, why she's there with them to begin with on what seems to be a pretty important day. They're not lovers, they're family.

And you really can’t wear binders over 8-10 hours, deffo don’t sleep in it! Trans tape can be worn for like a week or so. Be careful because if anything happens to your ribs, it can affect you having top surgery. Best of luck fellow trans people ♥️
