I love how Connie is just a normal sheltered human kid and Steven's life is FASCINATING to her but Steven is so used to it he thinks she's gonna get bored of him. anyway yeah Dogcopter is actually the most important character of this series, Steven and Connie really take a backseat to him after this 😌

Add up all the candy, chips, cookies, crackers, bakery goodies, and you probably get at least two large full aisles in our local (and not particularly big) grocery store. They're spread out though, to maximize the odds of impulse purchases, so it's less obvious at first how much is really there.

It's not stated in the show (there was gonna be one scene but it was scrapped,) but the creators confirmed Gems can eat if they shapeshift a digestive system.

Lion is, of course, his brother, but we won't get confirmation of that until the reveal of the Steven-Cookie Cat fusion where we'll see Steven's proper cat form. It's so cool how they foreshadow this with the finger-cat transformations, making us think it's some horrible thing and later reversing expectations and showing us that Cat Steven is the cutest character in the series.

He observes the magic around him with enthusiasm but without giving it excessive importance. Everything fascinates him, but he immediately continues with his life as if nothing had happened. Steven would pick up Mjolnir, have some fun flying and shooting lightning, and then put it down and say, "Wow, that was great, I'm going home to play Animal Crossing" without realizing the meaning of what he'd just accomplished. And Connie has always wanted to live her own magical adventure, and now thanks to Steven she finally has the chance.
