2024-07-31 19:22:28 +0000 UTCIn the original DuckTales, fun fact, Fenton eventually works for Scrooge as his accountant. Scrooge eventually figures out his secret identity as Gizmoduck, of course. This reboot has once again taken a concept from the original source material (Fenton eventually coming to work for Scrooge) and reworked it in a fresh new way while paying homage to it. It's sad to say but more reboots need to learn how to do that because not many of them seem to grasp this concept at all. By the way from here on out there is only filler episodes till Season 2, and they're all just filled with silly jokes for kids, nothing too relevant or major sadly.

I like how DuckTales handles it; It's relatively subtle compared to how other shows or movies would do it, and that's what makes it so great. Well, the way they showcase it that is, not that microaggressions are great, cuz they are not.

She's much older in that version, and pretty much lives in a trailer, permanently in hair curlers and a dressing gown, and spends most her time watching soap operas. But there's some legit chemistry. Nothing on Goldie's level though.
