Agreed with you, Callum handled it correctly i would say.

I love the conversation between the brothers near the start of the episode. This show has so much heart.

The problem of short episodes is easily remedied by watching two at a time. 😉 I think it’s a good idea to advertise your TDP reactions a bit. Some of your viewers who haven’t watched the show or just a few episodes might have preconceived notions about it but will trust your recommendation; and it’s always more enticing to start watching a reaction series if you know that the reactor’s really enjoying the show. As for the question about telling Ezran about the death of his father – I think he has a right to know. Just wanting to protect him for as long as possible is not a good enough reason to keep that information from him in my opinion. But finding the best time and way to tell him is also important and justifies waiting a bit. And of course I sympathize with Callum not wanting to hurt his brother by breaking the news.

I see what you did there, you need to cool down after that episode.

Gobber "I could see it in his eyes I was delicious!" Timon: "boy does she need a hobby" For those who know the show the main big dragon we see in the intro kinda looks like the one from Dragon Booster

I would've told Ez. When my aunt died my older cousin had to tell my younger, and it was hard, painful, and all that, but they needed to know. And especially in Ed's case he could find out by accident, and that would probably make him resent his brother for not telling him directly. Kids are a lot stronger than we give them credit for.

May I formally request a story time about the creeper and the editor

While The Dragon Prince is well liked by those who watch it, there isn't a lot of advertising for it (something Netflix is notoriously bad at), and quite a lot of people haven't actually heard of the show or know much about it.

Watching you and Elijah react to this series is wild, I just keep looking to the side like: “funny you should say that…” Some things you’re far off on, some things you are… not so far off on. (And others still be like: careful what you wish for! Ha, ha ha, ha…) Man, so excited for season 6 to finally release on July 26th. D’: I truly believe it’s gonna be a wild one, so should DEFINITELY mark an uptick in your video reactions! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ Can’t wait to continue watching your reactions regardless. ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ

Such a good show, it's climbed it's way up to my favorites list so fast. Love your reactions and can't wait to hear your thoughts on season 3 and onwards🤩

As the older sibling, I relate to your position regarding Ezran, it's just the protective instinct kicking in. Though if I were Callum in this situation, I'd be scared he found out by accident, since you could always meet someone on the road who knows and will just spit it out (that or Claudia and Soren, who are very likely to follow them, would tell Ez). Plus, Callum tells himself to Ezran that he was unfair for treating him as a little kid. However, I agree with the sentiment that telling him now would jeopardize a mission that's already hard enough, it's also a question of timing very difficult to handle ... This show is good introducing moral dilemnas

It really is a shame it doesn't do better. The art, the writing, the humor, it's all fantastic. I'll try to throw your playlists on in the background for some extra hits. Gonna try to get my brother into it to. He and the niece love fantasy stuff like this. I can think of perhaps a time or two in my life where I was the one to deliver the bad news. It was never with anyone the other individual was intimately related to. Always a passing acquaintance. But even then, I use the utmost tact. So I'm sure part of the struggle for Rayla was whether or not it was her place to break the news. That reminds me... During the first year of the pandemic, I lost a co-worker / buddy to it. We weren't particularly close, but we made work tolerable for eachother, and we'd gone out drinking a few times. I'd been following his decline during his hospital stay on Facebook, and one night got the news. Sobering, cuz we'd both caught it at the same time, but he'd never been in the best of health. I returned to work after that weekend wondering how it'd be addressed there. I stepped into the quality office and was greeted by the 3rd shift tech, a man I never spoke to much. "'Berto died." he said, as if it were casual conversation. I paused a moment before snapping back at him. "Yeah. I know. Lovely fucking bedside manner you got there." I don't think he ever said anything to me again for the remainder of his tenure.

Season six drops in two weeks, maybe that will generate some buzz for the series... I mean, everyone is dying to know more about the herd of taffy hippos rampaging across Xadia, eating all the jelly tarts. For telling Ezran... I think he should know. My brother and I were younger than he was when my mother miscarried - twice - and our parents explained it to us. I know there's a difference between that and your father being assassinated, but children are more resilient than we give them credit for. And at least then Callum can make sure Ezran doesn't find out on accident. Plus, some of the most irritating story arcs are plots of omission where one character keeps a secret from another, and when they find out, they're upset for several episodes... or an entire season (cough, Supergirl, cough). And yes, episode four is very... hot.
