The Clue (Featuring the mini episode: A Companion to Owls) That was CLOSE!

THEY'RE SOOOO CUTE TOGETHER WTF

Good Omens s2 ep2 Full, Uncut, Raw

Comments

From stars! I only recently realized just how huge they are in that scene.

Zolveig

Okay, but did you catch that Crowley's idea of falling in love is two people sheltering from a storm together? Kinda like the way Crowley and then Azzy have sheltered each other at various points?

Void Fairy

Hilarious idea but it was confirmed that Jim had nothing to do with it

Phoenix Mackenzie

That'd be absolutely hilarious

Azirapalala

This is, by far, my favourite episode of the entire show.

Carabas

I'm thinking more that Azi and Crowley combined contributed roughly half a Lazarus, and that Jim subconsciously made up other 24,5 Lazari.

Carabas

In the words of Morgan "It's a 6000 year slow burn" and I'm not ok with it

Lin

Omg, I didn't even think about that

Lin

All the more so when you consider that Crowley himself doesn't eat. When they dine at the Ritz he only ever has a wineglass, while all the plates are on Azi's side.

Ikr! Also in s2 E1 Crowley is the one that shields Az!

Phoenix Mackenzie

Imagine being David Tennant this episode and see your son hitting on Michael Sheen ...

Azirapalala

From what I understood the 25 lazuri miracle is shared responsibily between Crowley and Azi ! Azi was supposed to hide Crowley's miracle from Hell, and Crowley was supposed to hide Azi's miracle from Heaven, but them performing the miracle together was too strong to hide

Azirapalala

The way Crowley was looking at Aziraphale when he began eating that ox rib ... A level of derangement only accessible to the evilest of demons (or the ones who are pinning, ig)

Azirapalala

I liken the visitation of the angels upon poor Job after all he's been through to corporate paying a visit to the branch having absolutely no fucking clue how the branch operates day-to-day. Up there, they have no idea what's going on below. They only see numbers, figures, and data moving about with a very vague understanding of what that all means. The story of Job is pretty horrific. But religion is full of parables like that. "No matter how much we make you suffer, endure it! You'll be rewarded! Would we lie?" And I absolutely love the detail of Crowley introducing Aziraphale to food. Considering how big a foodie he becomes and he has Crowley to thank.

Joey Quixote

Since nobody else has mentioned it, I will just toss in that "a sudden downpour starts, and they shelter under an awning" is basically what happened with Crawley and Azi on the walls of Eden in S1E1.

I'm sure Christians would back peddle hard on their "everything is God's will," stance if you point out that that means the literal terabytes of smutty Catradora fan art on the internet is, therefor, God's will. Because either she made it so, or did nothing to prevent it. Yes, I just applied Epicurus to smutty fan art. I am not wrong. Unfortunately, there is a threshold of wetness at which romantacism peaks, and after which everything goes downhill. Otherwise, you could just push two people into the pool together and they'd be married before their clothes dried. So, who wants ox ribs now?

Ryan Porter

Can't wait for the next episode!

Kayla Ryan

I imagine anyone in the UK can play "Six degrees to The Doctor" with a par three.

Ryan Porter

"Try an ox rib" "Are you tempting me?" ...yes, that is absolutely flirting! And the Dirty Donkey pub is a reference to Neil Gaiman's short story "We Can Get Them for you Wholesale" Oh...and the last book Gabriel looks at with the red cover is the actual Good Omens book.

Zen

And everytime Nina mentions her partner 'Lindsay' I hear the name in the same cadence as Rosie and Alastor saying 'Susan'

Zen

What a cute shirt! <3

Zen

You missed the credit... Job was played by Peter Davison, the Fifth Doctor and David Tennant's father in law. Job's son was played by Ty Tennant... David Tennant's stepson. Hahahaha.

William Timmins

Mosco you should really look up the Book of Job. That is an actual story in the bible and they did not exaggerate a single part. He actually goes through even more in the bible.

Brett Bean

so The Metro is the British equivilent of Fox News, good to know
