McMystery at McDuck McManor!
LOL I bloody loved figuring this episode out!!!!
Nik Nocturne sure sounds and acts a lot like G.O.B. from Arrested Development (an "illuaionist" not a "magician")

So Black Art's plan was to summon a killer demon, but actually summoned Scrogge's most loyal servant back from the dead, instead. I can see why Ma Beagle's so done with him and the rest of her kids.

"Scrooge owns the town?"
"Technically, he owns the land, and leases it to the town for a tidy profit."
Damn, Scrooge really is quite the savvy entrepreneur, isn't he? Kinda funny how Ma feels it's rightfully the Beagles even though they stole it first. Also, to be fair to Louie, it's not like Scrooge has many friends they know about, only enemies.

I love the whole Daft Duck bit. It's a parody of the french band Daft Punk where all the members where those electronic helmets. They don't communicate through keytar though, that was all this show, and it's hilarious. The prerecorded responses Dewey has to everything is so good.

Duckworth was one of the main characters in the original Ducktales, and he was still alive, sharing the role Mrs. Beakley has now. Fans kept asking "Ehere's Duckworth?, Why isn't Duckworth here?" The creators said, probably snickering to themselves, that he was. Fans just has to pay attention to the theme song intro. Turns out he was the skull faxed demon all along. Also, this episode had a live table read with all the voice actors, and really funny seeing those voices come out of those people with zero visual context. It's worth finding on YouTube.

I think this is the first instance of "DT-87" popping up in the show, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was on a license plate or something that I missed. This being a nod to the original '87 DuckTales series.
Very eager to see the other reactions you recorded on this day! I've been looking forward to these!

Smug Mosco is best Mosco. And I love how every episode of this show is somehow both exactly what you’re expecting and not at all what you expected.

I'd been trying to remember when Duckworth entered the show...
I'd strongly argue the single funniest moment in the entire show involves Beakley responding to something duckworth does/says near the end of season 2.

So fun fact, the cast did a live script reading at some comic con and they gave Ben Schwartz (Dewey’s VA) a keytar, it got just as chaotic as you’d expect

Duckworth was a reoccurring character in the original Duck Tales series. And people wondered where he was in this one...while the creators snickered and said he was in the opening titles if you looked closely.

"how did you know it was me?"
"it's always you"
"AND IT ALWAYS WILL BE!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!"

Watching you solving the case alongside the characters was fun! This is the stuff we're here for! In the first Mark Beaks episode, when Huey lost his mind he called himself the "Duke of Making a Mess." That's what Dewey's helmet text was referencing. He knocked the phone out of Dewey's hand so he was like "the duke is back!" I've watched this episode several times and never caught that text though! Thank you for your thoroughness! :D (Also, my condolences on Florida)
