They show Callum’s drawings from the sketchbook on his hip (including some from the future), and change every episode. Also, Callum and Harrow's interaction is so heart breaking. You can tell they both want to connect but are forcing a distance between them because of their hang ups.

And then I had to wait over 2 YEARS for season 4's release. It was agonizing. Between this reaction and the first one, I've already fully revisited season 1. This show is just so stinking good!

I've been hoping for it ever since I found your channel and especially after seeing your reactions to other amazing animated shows. Some people wrote this off initially due to the art style being a bit different and seemingly lower quality when it came out, but it really is beautiful and artistic and the attention to detail is incredible, as you mentioned, as well as the story, worldbuilding, characters and their complexities. I really hope you continue to enjoy this show, it only gets better!

The castle, the armor, the battle tactics... the production design in this show is on point and avoids a lot of the tropes of most fantasy shows. The pauldrons are normal sized! Oh, yeah, the show has very dramatic and abrupt cliffhangers.
