Next Patreon Only Show

HEY PATREONS!!! So I am coming to end of s3 of Harley Quinn and since I REFUSE to do s4, I am looking for what you guys would like next. Drop your suggestions below, I'll reply back to the shows I've already seen.

Then I'll gather the choices together and conduct a poll!

Comments

this is super late but whether or not you made react vids to it, i think you'd enjoy Scavengers Reign!

rush

Frieren: The Journey's End One of the best anime I've seen in a LONG time.

Eliteguard99

If you ever decided to react to an album, "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" by Chappell Roan would be great.

Gone

Apparently all the writers were pulled off Harley to work on the new Kiteman show and from what I've heard from everyone whos watched season 4 of Harley it's AWFUL and not something I will enjoy so I aint putting myself through it.

Mosco Moon

evidently there was some drama with a bunch of the writing staff being poached for something else, don't know the details. afaik is pretty standard WB management being just...the worst, kinda stuff.

potato potato also another potato

I am out of the loop, why no HQ S4? as for suggestions: Invincible Blue Eye Samurai Madoka Magica Cyberpunk Edgerunners

Mosco Moon

Jesus I didnt expect this many comments and suggestions LOL will work my way through them and put a poll up over next few days!

Mosco Moon

Either Centaurworld, or if you haven't seen it yet, Amphibia.

Jazmyn Rianne Heller

I absolutely second Centaurworld. Fantastic show that you would jive well with I feel like. No spoilers, but the vibe is definitely adult show disguised as a kids show to an almost offputting degree.

Jazmyn Rianne Heller

Severance - Fantastic and gripping show that doesn't get enough recognition or love.

Emma Aird

Steven Universe seems to be the clear winner here, and for good reason; honestly surprised Mosco has never seen it. This is *the* show that pioneered LGBTQ representation in western animation. It has incredibly deep character development and world-building. Avoid spoilers at all costs, its story has some of the best reveals ever.

dys

I don't usually comment on these but please watch steven universe it's quirky fun and gay. I think you'll absolutely fall in love with it, it starts off a lil caotic and in my opinion slow but it's a really fun show with a bit of mystery as well, and did I mention really gay lol.

Candace

Not enough people react to Voltron and it’s actually really good despite what people say about it

Michelle

Voltron legendary defender! It’s on Netflix

Michelle

Trollhunters or Centaurworld Wynonna Warp is a fun one!

TheLesbianTrout

If you want an intensely wholesome show I'd suggest The Mysterious Benedict Society. It'd bomb on YouTube but it might be quirky enough to really pull in viewers on Patreon.

Inside Job and The umbrella academy are two of my personal favorites

SourCoon

If you’re willing to do anime at all and haven’t seen it, I highly recommend Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Very good (and gay) story - only 12 eps and a movie with another being released later this year.

Ginnie Sturm

3Below takes place in the same universe as Trollhunters, and both shows lead into another installment called Wizards (which I still need to watch).

Chris P3

People don't like that season as much. Personally, I think it's fine, but it does take a dip around the halfway point before building itself back up in the last two episodes.

Chris P3

Kipo!! Highlyyy recommend. Also, I'm probably missing something, but why do you refuse to do season 4? Genuine question here, I thought you were enjoying the show

Definitely RWBY, Kipo, Amphibia! Personally I’d be SUPER excited if you’d react to RWBY because it’s such an amazing show filled with amazing *heroines* and other stuff I have a feeling you’ll like! 😍🤩 But Kipo and the age of wonderbeasts, and Amphibia are great shows as well.

I would love to see you react to wynonna Earp but I don’t know if that would be up your alley, it is a live action

Ryn

One more on the list, trying not to be a pest. How the fuck did I forget Inside Job? The day-to-day life of the shadow government that's secretly ruling the world. Conspiracy theories, cryptids, Alex Hirsch worked on it, adult humor, fun stuff. You'd like the lead, Reagan Ridley. Absolute fucking mood. Only drawback I can think of is it's too short (2 seasons, 10 episodes each) and season 2 has what you might classify as "hetero bullshit". I didn't take to the ship personally, but some people liked it.

Joey Quixote

Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. Transformers Prime. Only season one has a few filler episodes because of world building (which is why it's also the longest season) but everything else is 100% story narrative. Kim Possible (you'll have to look up the proper viewing order for this one) Samurai Jack Psych, if you want more live action stuff Star Wars: The Clone Wars if you're feeling ambitious (this one also has to be viewed in it's proper order)

AnimeJNKY

Ok, on ep 2 right this moment as I type and OMG, yes, please, Wynonna Earp!

Serinthia Kelberry

Love, death, and robots, The legend of vox machina, Cyberpunk edgerunners, or inside job are shows I think you’d really enjoy

Lower decks is great, but also if you're down for shows available on YouTube I'd really recommend the Team Starkid musicals, probably either Twisted, Spies are Forever, or the hatchet field trilogy(the guy who didn't like musicals, black Friday, nerdy prudes must die)

Cass

Star Trek Lower Decks is amazing, if you have even a small amount of familiarity with Star Trek. (I mean, I think it'd be enjoyable even if you didn't, but a LOOT of jokes would be missed)

William Timmins

The Orville, Fallout, Blue Eye Samurai, Invincible, The Boys

shelby hedegaard-friend

I would love to see tangled the series. Because i think the characters are developed throughout the series. It has 3 seasons all adding up as 60 episodes. I don't see this getting reacted to much, and I have rewatched it so many time.

Fallout A Sign of affection revolutionary girl utena Blue eyed samurai ouran highschool host club Babylon 5

Patreon only I'll suggest anime, since youtube is youtube: First off I would love to see Bloom into you. It's really pretty visually, the story is all about sapphics teens and they are a messy bunch, plus bonus adult lesbian couple. Also some ace rep, which tends to be rare. Dungeon Meshi is also really great and popular atm. And there is some decently strong sapphic vibes from a certain character, plus some nice food, might make you hungry. And for the sake of sapphic animation history Revolutionary girl Utena. I only recently watched it and it's a wild ride. Like it goes places you don't expect.

Willow Arkan

HEARTSTOPPER PLEASE

Elizabeth Smith

amphibia absolutely! since said you weren’t interested in editing the amphibia art style (which is valid) i think it’d be a great patreon-only option, especially since you love the owl house and they’re sister shows. first season is more centered around character development than plot so a lot of people think it’s slower or less enjoyable, but i think it’s super charming. the plot REALLY picks up by the end of s1 and will definitely have you on the edge of your seat for the rest of the show

Ky

Steven Universe is the first that comes to mind however that one is a long series. There are 5 seasons of the original show (season 1 has over 50 episodes but the rest of the seasons have around 20 each), the movie, and then the epilogue show Steven Universe Future. There are incredible songs in the show itself so that could make editing them for YouTube difficult if this ends up being picked but not for a Patreon-only thing. Each episode is about 11 minutes usually with some of them being over 20 minutes, though that is not common. Also, I need to voice this concern if you do Steven Universe; There will be characters who do or say things that will likely frustrate you, maybe not to the level of say Catra, but there might be issues on that front. Some other reactors have had problems regarding the more toxic fans for specific characters. I am not naming anyone or any characters but from what I've seen there I am concerned about it, considering your troubles with She-ra and Catra fan stuff. I would love to see you react to this show but I would not blame you at all if you went with something else. No matter how much I give a warning or disclaimer it won't prepare anyone for what happens online, I know that. This is one of the gayest shows I've ever seen and I only watched it recently, I avoided it growing up because of peer pressure, so I enjoy it when other people get to experience it for the first time too. I am not trying to say "Don't watch this show" or anything, but I didn't want to recommend it unless I also gave a heads-up in regards to that potential issue. You're a good person and I love watching your reactions, I don't want you to jump into something that could upset you due to toxic fans or something the show does. I hope I made a good case, chances are good that you've already been warned about this so this is likely a lot of wasted text.

Carmen Sandiego but as a witch

What about Netflix The Sandman...

Brett B.

Considering her reaction to the opening shower scene in Velma, she'd tap out of this one in less than 5 minutes.

Joey Quixote

I agree, but Adventure Time is a rather long series to which she'd have to commit a lot of time, which she may not be up for. And not everything in the series is vital for understanding or appreciating Fionna and Cake. So, if she doesn't want to do all of Adventure Time and is more interested in Fionna and Cake, then she would only need to watch specific episodes of Adventure Time before starting Fionna and Cake, which I believe is what a reactor friend of hers named Morgan did and that didn't cause any issues for them. Whatever is easier or more appealing for Mosco should be fine if she picks up either series.

Sarah H

my adventures with superman is great and another superhero show one piece live action is great, not sure if it's your cup of tea, but still should be fun I really would love for you to react to RWBY, I think it would be a show you love

bloodyshadow1

So for Patreon, Kipo was really great, not too long and seems to be complicated to edit for youtube. Amphibia was really great. A good way to try if your not sure. Fallout was trending actually, because of that, probably better for youtube. If not it's a great one to balance with other show

Glorinfeld

wishful thinking with that one

John Bossert

I forgot to throw this one on my list. I know she's been considering it for a while.

Joey Quixote

Yeah you’re definitely right there 👍🏻👌🏻

Joshua Gwinnell

Amphibia and steven universe.

xattygt

Great suggestion! But she's seen The Owl House. It's funny you suggest it, actually, because I found her channel through her TOH reactions: her commentary, freakouts and fangirling drew me in and are definitely worth a watch! You can find all her uncut reactions here on Patreon or the cut reactions over on YouTube. 😊

Sarah H

I don't think she would like big mouth

xattygt

I support mlp as a recommendation

A C PARNELL

I don't think she should be watching Fionna and Cake without watching Adventure Time first. It's still a sequel series.

Vilmu

Oh she seems to be loving the show, we've all just heard s4 is terrible compared to the first three.

Serinthia Kelberry

I absolutely recommend Blue Eye Samurai, Dungeon Meshi’s also great

Grubby

My adventures with Superman

Brett B.

Blue Eye Samurai Invincible Fionna and Cake (need some but not all Adventure Time knowledge) Or, since it'll be a Patreon exclusive and you won't have to worry about copyright, I think you'd enjoy the anime Spy X Family. Editing to add Shogun (2024) - can't believe I forgot to include this masterpiece!

Sarah H

If u havent, steven universe for sure !!

Blue eye Samurai, Fallout, Amphibia If You're Willing to cover anime reactions on Patreon, The Witch From Mercury, Dungeon Meshi, or SK8 the Infinity would be fun

I'm pretty sure you've seen "Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated", you've at least referenced it. Amphibia would be fun. Morgan and Elijah covered most of it. It is heavily episodic, particularly in the first season, but has one of the most satisfying series finalés I've ever seen. Steven Universe is typically considered required viewing for queer cartoons. There's a lot of it though, and the first season is very episodic. Main story picks up halfway through that season and is off and running at the end of the season. Also uses the 12 minute format. I'd love to see your take on Adventure Time, but there is A LOT of it. 283 episodes. (mostly 12 minutes), 4 Distant Lands specials (45ish minutes each), and currently one season of the spinoff Fionna & Cake. I always push Craig of the Creek. The main flaw is how episodic it is in the first season, less moving forward. But bite-sized 12 minute episodes, it is hilarious, and the amount and quality of representation is incredible (LGBTQIA+, cultures, races, religion, incomes, family types, etc.) No Scots that I'm aware of, but you'd love Kelsey. One of the main 3 characters, fancies herself a knight/paladin/warrior, dramatic monologues, carries a PVC sword. She's great. I love The Venture Bros. Amazing story, incredible world building, cracking great humor, some truly fantastic character arcs, every season gets better. BUT, this show came from the early 00's on [adult swim], so some of the language/jokes used in the early seasons wouldn't pass standards today. And a recurring character from season 3 on who has a... problematic past. Bojack Horseman is incredible, thought-provoking, a fun art style, and the humor is top-notch. It's very adult, and I don't mean smutty or profane. The series can be a bit of a downer, and you're not meant to like the central character, but he has his moments. Excellent asexual rep in the show, even if it's a little tropey.

Joey Quixote

Jumping on the Steven Universe bandwagon! It's so much fun and I know you love making theories so it's perfect!

Reaper Scythe

I think you'd really LOVE the Owl House, it has some good queer rep and I really love the overall story 😊

My vote for blue eye samurai. It’s only eight episodes and the animation and action are awesome. Barring that you said anime are hard to do for copyright reasons so maybe an anime? Off the top of my head I wouldn’t know which to recommend for a reaction.

Miguel Garcia

Sorry, don't mean to spam comments, it posted that last one when I tried to make a new line. The Tangled animated series has a lot of elements I think you'll love, including a prominent role voiced by Lucifer's voice actor Jeremy Jordan. And Kipo and the Age of Wobderbeasts features Glimmer's voice actress in the main role, and comparing/contrasting the two roles is very interesting.

Tristan Haller

Blue Eye Samurai is a fantastic animation. Not quite on the level of arcane but 7 to 8/10ths of the way there in my opinion.

K Cianci

Steven Universe would be a perfect series for you to start next (as others have said)! It’s an iconic show that paved the way for a lot of the queer rep we see in western animation today. I’ve seen some other ppl say Our Flag Means Death, which I will always recommend. It’s also known as the “gay pirate show” and boy does it live up to its name. I like to sell it to people by describing the two main characters as “Crowley and Aziraphale as pirates” lol. There is a huge overlap of OFMD and GO fans.

KJ Benson

"Fallout" turned out to be very entertaining. Also, for western animation series I want to recommend "Pantheon". It really surprised me, such a solid sci-fi. Too bad AMC didn't do a good job advertising it (not to mention AMC+), and completed second season almost wasn't released. It was purchased by Amazon, but only for NZ and AU, so currently it is not easy to watch it legally, to say the least... But it is worth a watch.

I have a selection of Anime shows, I'm just not sure what genres you're into along those lines. A short little six ep series called The Wingfeather Saga is pretty entertaining. It's an indie show, completely fan funded. The eps are free on their website and i have copies also. I would suggest Trollhunters, 3Below, and Wizards as someone else did, but, without spoiling much, I didn't care much for the movie that eventually wrapped up all the loose ends in that whole shared universe. The modern remake of Carmen SanDiego could be fun. I'll think more on it.

Are you willing to do anime or just sticking to western tv? If anime, Vinland Saga is fantastic (48 episodes total) or Spyxfamily for something more lighthearted.
