Moscow: โThis hasnโt aged well.โ
Me: *cackles knowing what happens in about thirty seconds.*
You and Elijah are so damn cute. As a Patreon to both you amazing content Creators itโs so nice seeing a Sapphic reactor couple. I know it would be hard with time differences and picking a show but it would be great to see you two react to a show together in its entirety. Or hell even a podcast type show where you both just discuss the shows you two are both watching could be neat.
Also itโs really metaphorical if you think about it. Harley is a gymnastics and gymnastics need to stay loose, so she might help Ivy loosen up. Where as Ivyโs plant based magic helps root down Harley a bit.

If you don't want to watch suicide squad for context (because the first one is awful, the second/third one depending on if you count birds or prey is decent but...tries too hard to just be deadpool...but I digress.
If you don't want to watch it the context is basically. Supervillains who join get time off their prison sentences for completing suicide missions as a black ops style special forces group, if they fail, they die and nobody cares because they were super villians, they are expendable, as it were.
To avoid members going rogue they all have bombs implanted in their heads or war collars with bombs in them that can be remotely detonated. Amanda Waller, the lady Harley kidnapped, runs the suicide squad for the US government, and her character is basically...that she's super mean...to keep them in line I guess? I dunno.
Harley has been a member in the past, and is in both movies (iirc birds of prey takes place between the movies but is in the same timeline. The rest of the members shown in the little montage are the other members from the first, horrible movie and are minor dc villains.
*note, I haven't seen season 3 of harley yet (other than this episode) so I have no idea how relevant any of this is. There was such a huge gap between 2 and 3 I had kinda forgotten about it until Mosco started watching it.

Not-So-Fun Fact: You think the Elizabeth II scene has aged poorly now? Well, this episode first released literally just one month before her passing. Almost like one of those predictions in the simpsons, except far closer to the actual date. That scene truly either aged like wine or like milk depending on how you look at it. Still, RIP Queen Lizzie.

Yeah they grown...but for me the mvp of the reaction with HQ it's each time when Mosco was : WTF. And HQ was pretty good in that. This show was pretty good to hitting from the blindside :p

Amusingly, I was just telling my kids about the importance of space in a relationship. That sometimes my wife and I really want to be with each other... on separate couches playing around on our phones.
Feeling that you have to sprint from one Activity to the next is toxic expectation.

Aw man, you missed Poison Ivy's name in the show title at the end. The one thing you wanted more than anything. (If the link I DM'd in community doesn't work, it's at 31:25 in the video.) I understand the pain though, Harley can be pretty obsessive and over the top, but you should keep in mind her last relationship with the Joker brought on this behavior, in hopes he would return her feelings. Even though Ivy is nothing like him, it can be difficult to move on from that trauma. Trust me though, it does get more bearable, and they both help each other grow as the season goes on.

I think you should watch the Suicide Squad movie to understand who they are. Harley was a part of them too

harley being over the top and a bit obsessive with her relationship is totally in character for her especially when u remember what her previous one was like. she hasn't fully recovered from the trauma of it and her old habits of being totally committed to everything her partner does hasn't gone away just yet. it can be hard to watch but it definitely makes sense for her to be this way. but the thing I love about harlivy the most is that they help each other grow as people and you'll for sure see some of that but no promises that it'll happen right away

Also, quick correction:
It's not the show that didn't age well.
It was the queen that didn't.

A super fun, super chaotic season!
Now I'm gonna be cross-referencing these reactions with Elijah's. She started here in August of '22. Throughout the season, she frequently acknowledges "If I had a girlfriend, I'd be the Harley." And here we have Mosco calling her girlfriend out for the cascade of gifts. Oh, this'll be fun!

Now compare and contrast with Elijah's reaction to this episode...

Harley? Over the top? Never!
As Sheryl said during the debate, "we've got potholes, sinkholes, Super Squirrel, exploding sewers, haunted crosswalks, children driving buses, pregnant rats on every corner, and it costs $38 to mail a letter!" And later in the episode, we saw every one of those, except mailing a letter.
