Percy Jackson s1 ep7 Full, Early, Uncut

Just so you know, the last episode does have a post credits scene that is fun to watch!

So in the book and also mentioned briefly in a past episode of the show is that they do have 'school' for the demigods of all ages. Especially if you bring a lot of attention of monsters to you. Some can get away with being in the real world for a while because they are of a 'weaker' god's child, but the strong ones usually have to go to camp. It's an all round camp, and you have to declare it before the summer is up (or else harpies get ya if you stay without saying that you want to stay). Annabeth came and stayed at camp since she was nine? younger? but yeah, you can be almost any age and stay at camp. There's homework and field trips and whatnot that you can do in the year round thing.

Of course Kerberos is a Dalmatian. According to the Odyssey (and the first Percy Jackson book) the entrance to the Underworld is located in the far west, which to most Greeks hearing the story would probably evoke Croatia, where Dalmatians are from. Also, Kerberos means Spot.

I've always loved the depiction of Kerberos in the comic Punderworld, where he's a three-headed *Dalmatian* (and quite fond of Persephone, of course). Anyhoo (as Crusty would say), I do like how this episode exposes the big flaw in the whole "Hades stole the Master Bolt out of jealousy" theory. And also how Hades himself is properly depicted as a lot more chill than a lot of the other gods, but still fits into the whole "gods are dicks" generalization.

Well, as I said, I'm fuzzy on the whole thing too, and may be confusing the scene with one from the bad movie...or one from a completely different story.

The hollywood hills you're thinking of was only in the movie. In the books they first go to Crusty's while running/ hiding from some mortal gangsters. They almost fall for the trap but manage to escape. The entrance to the Underworld is in a Record shop called DOA Records (aka Dead on arrival) and percy and the gang tell Charon that they all drowned in a bathtub... it was a really big bathtub. Then they bribe him by saying that Hades probably doesnt pay him that much and he deserves more and they just keep stacking drachma on top of each other. Its pretty funny but I do like how they combined the scenes into the show. Pretty clever.

I love how this show gives us more of Sally since the book was exclusively from Percy's perspective. And from what I remember of the book, Hades was definitely misunderstood, but still kind of a prick.

Crusty's Waterbed Palace was a scene in the book before they went to the underworld, but it wasn't the entrance to the underworld itself. That was DOA Records, they combined the two scenes in the show for time.

I've leaned over too with slowpan shots like that lol you're not the only one

"I'm trying to see him faster...I'm an idiot." Hey, at least you haven't been in a movie theater, trying to see the scroll bar on the right side of the screen to see how much longer the credits will last. I've done that. ;)

"I don't remember any of this" - my memory from the book is equally vague - but I *think* they changed the whole "entering the Underworld" sequence here. Indeed, I vaguely recall the whole thing happening in the Hollywood Hills, not a bed shop. I had a waterbed for years. It has the advantage of being easy to move because you can just take out the water and fold up the whole mattress into a small box, but you also have to add conditioners and such and if the bed heater break, it will become *incredibly* cold to lay on, even in the hottest summer...and of course you have to empty the whole thing to replace that heater. I found it very comfortable - as did our cats, who loved the fact it was heated - but my wife didn't as it hurt her back.
