Aphrodite is an older or contemporary cousin of Zeus born of Uranus I think.

Jason Anthony Cazares

You don't need passports, but terminals and stations do have police stationed here. Sometimes even on the trains.

SpaceNerd

does anyone else think the show is as dark as she does

Had to poke my head in for this one to see Adam Copeland (formerly "The Rated R Superstar" Edge in WWE) as Ares. Thrilled to see he's being well-received. He's eating the character up. American Diners. Ya gotta find one that's legit. Not just a restaurant dressed up as one charging extra for the experience. We've all had shit experiences at diners, but we keep going back. You can go most anywhere for a "good meal", but there's something to be said about a hastily plated burger with a side of fries hot out the grease, soaking up the juice from your side pickle spear and a mug of diner coffee that, when brewed to perfection, is it's own kind of magic, and better than anything they can brew at Starbucks. Fuck... Now I gotta hit George Webb's this weekend.

Yes! They need to add Percy Jackson to Disney! Maybe even have some of the characters make appearances too!

Ares, Hermes, Poseidon, Hera, Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hephestus, Aphrodite, Dionysus, and Hestia are the 12 Olympians, all being children of Zeus, except Hera, Demeter, Poseidon and Zeus ofc. So, yes, they're all incredibly powerful. the most powerful gods!

I WOULD LOVE A PJO DISNEY RIDE (and an owl house one too but ya know let's be realistic) I think the thrill o' love ride would be fantastic. They could maybe do a giant "plunge to your death" drop roller coaster that lands in a splash too like episode 4. The fandom went feral for this episode so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Ares is the god of war, but with a focus on brutal violence, bloodlust and brute force, while his sister Athena is the one who handles military strategy. Since they VERY briefly showed Hephaestus' story in the episode, here's more about him: he is the god of fire, volcanoes, blacksmiths and craftsmen and such. His mother Hera found him ugly and threw him off the Mount Olympus when he was very little. He is disabled, either born that way or because his mom threw him off a damn mountain. He created many weapons for the other gods, but they made fun of him because of his appearance/disability. His wife Aphrodite cheats on him with Ares. So yeah, that's why he has more sympathy.

Vilmu

Yeah, but I assumed they'd just get them from a kiosk or something. I mean, not one of them has a smart phone.

The answer to how they crammed all this into the movie is they didn't. The movie completely cut out the stuff this episode covers, as well as all the stuff the last episode covered (though they replaced that with a made up scene.)

Xeph

Ok but same I was like YO THOSE CHEESEBURGERS LOOK SO GOOD PLEASE EAT THEM

I always love when there's a character where you can never quite be sure if they're friendly or hostile, and the bloke playing Ares is doing a fantastic job of that. (It's also apropos for the character, as not even the Ancient Greeks seem to have been entirely comfortable with him.)

Also, you do have to give your names when you're buying tickets online, so that won't give any more anonymity

Passports...no. But security for the terminals (and any on the trains/buses) will definitely have "Wanted" pictures of the three. And honestly, three kids traveling *alone* across the country are always going to attract attention.
