he's terrifying, it's fascinating watching catra around him, you can watch her slowly realizing just how out of her depth she is, watch her growing unease morph into a deep seated fear as the episode progresses, mirroring our own experience as viewers.

This season is absolutely the best this show ever gets, and it’s the one I always come back to and rewatch eps from. Nearly all of my favorite She-Ra eps are from S5 if that tells you anything! Also as a LotR fan (as evidenced by my Frodo pfp) I definitely understood the broken sword reference lol

Catra, on the other hand, has years of experience getting black-market goodies in the Fright Zone, and taking only a little at a time so they last longer.

I'm sure it's a great read though and I might check it out after I've finished the show, but with Hazbin Hotel dropping while Percy Jackson still airs I'm going to have almost 0 time to do anything else. I'm trusting the show runners of She-Ra to give me a completed story without having to do external research, they've not let me down yet.

(Link down below) This story does not contain contradictions or spoilers. In fact, it explains the character development by showing what happened before and after that episode. Furthermore, ND confessed to having written the script for a secret episode, and this fan-fic matches with an artwork he posted on Twitter. The directors really do step things up in season 5 when it comes to things like symbolism, scene transitions and use of lighting. There's some amazing moments coming up.

Especially the musical episode where Catra sings a heart wrenching ballad and Adora finally suspects that Catra may have feelings for ... Glimmer. Definitely Glimmer. And then Adora has a rap battle with her evil Horde clone. The other princesses are the backup dancers. And the less we say about Swift Wind's song, the better. The intro changes a little bit almost every episode this season. Keep your eyes open. Mermista's sexuality is ... well she's definitely boat curious, if you catch my drift. Aw, Glimmer and Catra's first date. So awkward when your host brings up your ex. --- "Is this going to be an annoying season where every episode ends on a cliffhander?" No! ...maybe!

Imo both her and SeaHawk give off bi vibes. I’m pretty sure Perfuma was confirmed pan and Bow was confirmed bi. Possibly Glimmer was as well?

It wasn't until the Colonizers — uh, I mean "First Ones" — overthrew the Cat Folk and took the She-Ra line for themselves that we get the 5 human-looking ones (well, 6 if we include Adora).
