Should I react to She-Ra s5 Trailer & Other Version of Song

So Elijah has convinced me to poll you guys on whether or not I should react to the s5 trailer and the song thing-y (that seems important) before I react to S5 of She-Ra itself?

Originally I wasn't going too because I like going in BLIND, but let me know what you guys want!!

How do we get to the discord page?

Animegirl

hearing you all loud and clear: Song yes, trailer no!!

Mosco Moon

Song without trailer is good

Leslie Mactir

Option 3: Song yes, trailer NO

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Given the fun you had with the twist with Glimmer and Double Trouble, it's very likely worth not even having the images to spoil so you get the full force of what's to come.

Zen

I would have said yes to the trailer, but hold off on the song until after. It's not exactly spoiler-y in terms of actual info, but I think that it kinda is in terms of themes and mood.

Squirrel

Other than the last like, 5 seconds I don’t think anything is spoiled or easy to guess correctly in the trailer, but I didn’t even know about the trailer until after I finished the season so idk.

Jenny D

At least react to the song if you don’t want to do the trailer!

Jenny D

Just the song, not the trailer

Valentina M

I would recommend watching it, but if you really don't want any spoilers, wait until midseason.

SweetCandle

To the song yes trailer no I think Mosco would really love the song 😍

Song yes, trailer no

I'm just now watching your Ep. 12 react, and considering how glad you are to have gotten this far without spoilers, DEFINITELY hold off on watching the S5 trailer until some sort of She-Ra wrap-up party, after you've finished the series. When the gears in your head are busy trying to figure things out, what's shown (or not shown) in the trailer gives you clues that you've made clear you don't want ahead of time.

JHB

If you don't usually watch trailers because of spoilers there's no reason to start now. It is a pretty good song but you could always just listen to it on its own anyway.

Rufus May

I watched it, and didn't feel spoiled. Maybe some hints at some things that anybody would guess was definitely going to happen in season 5. It's a great song and pumped me up for season 5.

Stephen Ray

Voting for Go In Blind And React Later.

Panic Blitz

I would say yes, but not until you finish season 4. Huge spoiler!

Kevin Morris

I forgot about the song... Watch it after episode (redacted). We'll tell you when...

Ryan Porter

If you wanna go in blind, skip any trailers...but yeah, watch the song.

Chris P3

The trailer for season 5 is really great. Sadly, it includes short excerpts from the episodes of season 5. It's your choice, but I can't recommend watching it at the start of the series, especially as you are good at noticing things and figuring things out. As a compromise, you could consider watching it midway through season 5 if you wanted. The further you go, the fewer spoilers. I'll go rewatch it, and see if I could make a more specific recommendation. The songy thing you can watch any time, though I'd suggest waiting until after the first episode. That episode gives context to the mood of the song.

Tabatha Cat

That is actually a good point I keep forgetting. I personally didn't figure nothing out that wasn't already guess-able. ... But I realized, I have the observation skills of a rock sometimes, especially compared to Mosco.

Sero

Just watched the trailer. With your critical analysis skills you definitely shouldn't watch it unless you want something huge spoiled. In retrospect I should have realized what was going to happen with King MicAH and AngelA considering the fact she always called her GlimmAH. Freaking immortal queens

Dinker

Listen to the song but go in blind, that trailer is def spoilery

lisadeann

I rewatched the trailer and it’s mostly safe but there are still some spoilers for the next season.. then again, most of us probably watched it before going into season 5 (I know I did) and it pumped me up for S5 so… it really depends on whether you like having a vague clue as to what’s going to happen next or not.. I hope I helped. Can’t wait to see your reaction to the final & next season!

song sl

I am one of the most spoilerphobic people I know to the point that I normally never watch trailers for stuff I'm interested in, and I thought it was fine. There are no story spoilers. All you see is some new tech and locations. But if you do not watch it, maybe react to AJ Michalka's version of Warriors on its own without the visuals?

Carabas

I would say yes, do react to it, but WAIT until after finishing season 5. Solely because the song is just that good. Otherwise it's a bit spoilery, so JUST for the song, but AFTER reacting to the season. It would be a nice epilogue.

Dan_Gaming_Fan

Like already Said, the song only was the idéal. And it's a occasion for doing another react to the trailer and others things, after the END of the serie :)

Glorinfeld

Go in blind. It's one thing when there's a time gap between the trailer and when the season begins (like what happened between when the trailer aired and when the season did), it's different when you can watch them back-to-back. Besides, I think both Elijah and Morgan caught the trailer when it came out, so you can do something different. However, I DO recommend watching it as part of a series wrap-up after the finale. Also an option for that: the Swift Wind Adventures shorts.

JHB

I watched the trailer with the song after finishing the series, and I’m glad I didn’t watch it before finishing. There are spoiler-ish scenes, and yes they’re out of context, but I can think of at least one “wow moment” shown in the trailer that would’ve been dampened for me watching the show if I’d seen the trailer already. But I never watch trailers for anything I’m even moderately interested in, I always prefer going in blind.

Jeff Nunez

I agree with the song but not the trailer!

Jojo

You should definitely react to the song but you don’t need to do the trailer.

Jacob Bess

If you don’t want to watch the trailer, at least just listen to the song :)

Mizz

I'd go in blind. There are several not *quite* spoilers, but probably more spoilery than you would like, and the rest basically tells you stuff you already know/can guess.

David Johnson

Having just rewatched it to double check, I don't think there are spoilers that are going to change things that you would either know from the end of s4 or could easily assume. Like it doesn't spoil the big twist that Daddy Hordak was Mara all along, for example.

voyager-ngc5195

Listening to the song yes, watching the trailer no. The trailer has some moments that are kinda spoilers. Its better to go into season 5 without watching the trailer. Its the type of 'technically doesn't spoil anything directly by virtue of showing out-of-context moments'. Which does do the job hiding the exact nature of the images shown, but it serves to take away your feelings of surprise and shock when you do see the moments while watching season 5.

Omegastar

While I would prefer you not doing the trailer (the song is ok) and to go on completely blind, the trailer doesn't really spoil anything major and lot of the scenes used are missing the context.

Kayla Ryan

Trust me, Elijah has good reason to suggest this, do it !!

Rhys Elliott

I wouldn’t suggest to watch the trailer but the song for the trailer is fantastic

Christopher Bouzas

😈😈😈 pls react omg

Peluche

I would totally listen to the song, not watch the trailer

J. Jenny Jameson

The trailer is awesome, but it'll drive your brain MAD
