I’m saved!” And now in this episode she finds our group and says, “Princesses! I saved you!” Even though there’s really only one (or maybe even just half of one?) princess this time.

2023-12-14 20:39:57 +0000 UTCI love the Micah reveal. I caught the big clue in S3E06 with his final words. So I knew then he was still alive and I was expecting his return at some point. And usually when a show foreshadows something like that, they keep nudging you, keep reminding you of what's gonna happen, until it does. It's still a fun moment in the plot, but you see it coming a mile away. Here though, NO MENTION of it since the initial hint, and SO MANY other things happen in the 10 episodes that follow that you just forget that it was an eventuality. I knew Micah was gonna return, but by the time I got to this episode, I just forgot that it was gonna be a thing.

A thousand years of First One's tech to play with? She'll never want to leave... The reveal that King Micah is still alive is nothing compared to the fact that Angela survived, and after an eternity trapped in the portal (an unfortunate side effect of immortality) has turned bitter and cold, and when she's rescued by Horde Prime, well... Glimmer does get along with her new step-dad, eventually.

But Glimmer needs my help, and I can’t stay with nothing but memories.” Remember how, when she said goodbye and flew off, he looked down for a moment as thought thinking. Then he looked up and shouted, “Angie! Angella, wait, I’m not. . .” What was he trying to say? In retrospect, that episode was even more devastating than we realized at the time.

When Queen Angella says goodbye to Micah, Micah looks down for a second and then just before he is consumed by the portal he shouts 'Wait, Angie, I'm not-'. You thought he had realized at the last second that he wasn't real and was about to tell that to Angella. But he was actually about to tell her he wasn't dead. One interesting detail in this episode is that after Adora transforms she states that she promised Queen Angella that 'she would take care of everyone.' That is incorrect. Angella told Adora to 'take care of each other'. Adora twisted Angella's words. I can't wait for your reaction to the season 4 finale! The finale is actually a two-parter, but to be honest its not that big of a deal if you don't watch the episodes back-to-back.
