I think it criticizes the concept that everyone needs to have a "special one" (like you can't be happy without a romantic relationship) and then at the end religion regarding stuff like marriage between a man and a woman being considered "perfect" and "pure" (those were definitely some homophobic puppets.) Also generally about cults targeting vulnerable people.

Yellow Guy and Red Guy really went on a journey. I hope you check out the final two episodes... of the YouTube series anyway. They're pretty interesting and stuffed with lore.
