Seeing One-One again is always great, and I agree that Spider Alan Dracula is what nightmares are made of. More importantly, though, the entire ending is absolutely perfect. MT- I mean, Lake's journey of finding her own identity and freedom was handled so beautifully and maturely. The shot of her being able to look at a reflective surface without fear of the Flecks for the first time is pure art. The whole scene perfectly embodies the spirit of the show, and I just love it so much.

Not only were you excited to see more of her, but you wanted to know "Does she have a name?" And finding her own identity was such an important part of her journey. Your next Passenger... I think by the end of Book 3, you'll grow to love them. But it won't be easy.

Also shows off how the train's effect can be seen off the train are not just mental but physical like Tulip not having a reflection witch is going to freak out any body who notices it and Lake's appearance.

2023-10-23 18:45:04 +0000 UTCI remember being genuinely shocked by the ending. I was totally prepared for MT's plan to not work for whatever reason, but for the machine to just... IGNORE them like that hit a lot harder. And the "I am a person" line leaves no ambiguity as to what it's supposed to mean. I didn't cry when Atticus got zapped, because it seemed obvious how that could be fixed. HERE, I had no idea where things were going.
