I think the humans are silhouettes because the drones can’t recognize them, which is probably a feature that the humans specifically programmed in

2023-09-24 00:43:45 +0000 UTCOne thing to remember is that these are a combination of the memories of N & Vee, memories that have probably been corrupted several times by attempted mind wipes. They may not be 100% accurate (much like Luz didn't remember some things entirely as they happened... except more-so). In the beginning we're watching that tape they found last episode. I think the Drone that woke up in the dump was Cyn, and that Tessa found her and brought her home, because it looks like Tessa *way* better relates to the Drones than to humans - which given her parents is unsurprising. I also suspect that the tiny chance of mutation that was mentioned in the video happened in her, and created the Absolute Solver program.
