It's a tricksy mystery

I haven't seen this show before. I'm just as confused as you are.

Canโ€™t wait for season two when Tulipsโ€™s non binary friend brutally murders two cops

Unexpected Philip DeFranco shirt!

Panic Blitz

If it helps, this show was totally baffling the first time I watched it.

A possibly related fun fact: In the Owl House episode "Adventures in the Elements", King refers to one of the stuffed animals in his "boot camp" as "Aloysius Turtle".

don't worry it does all make sense in the end your just missing some crucial pieces right now its not you its the nature of the show I've shown a lot of people this show and including me no one knew what was going on at this point

Fun fact: Aloysius is voiced by Matthew Rhys who was also the voice actor for Belos!

Hey, take care of yourself *first* - *then* record. Much as we enjoy your stuff, your health is the priority.

My personal takeaway (no spoiler) of "The Unfinished Car" was that I saw an analogy. Nothing seems to make sense in there. Gravity changes with the terrain. A pool of jam to speed up travel. A hole that delivers the mail via the wind. The buildings are incomplete. The inhabitants are turtles for some reason. Nothing about it makes cohesive sense. But it works. And it worked until One One tried to "fix" it. There's a lot of things (and people) in this life that are a mess like this car. But they work. And sometimes an external force, like say, a well-meaning friend trying to "fix" it, just makes matters worse. One One meant no harm, but in trying to "fix" what they perceived to be broken, they only made matters worse. Sometimes things are a mess, or "broken", but they find their own way to work, if we let them. Not saying people shouldn't try to help in these situations, just that that's how things are sometimes. Tulip, in not nearly as many words (sorry) explains this to One One as she tries to get him to stop helping. And the stair bit, I think was more a statement on Corgis having trouble climbing them. But you're right not to trust stairs. ... Cuz they're always up to something! *runs*

Donโ€™t feel to bad about not knowing what is going on. As I recall I was pretty confused the first time I watched this, and my brain was mostly functional at the time.

Seeing Tulip revisit her memories without nostalgia clouding them is one of the most depressing things I've seen in a cartoon. Yet, it's one of my favorites because of how real it feels.
