The Horde isn't really homophobic either, but discourages vulnerability and intimacy and stuff like that in general regardless of who you are.

This echoes what Bow said to Adora in 'Flowers for Perfuma', after Adora disappointedly reveals her non-She-Ra self to Perfuma: "I thought I was being supportive, but I was actually being terrible!" Like fathers, like son, I guess.
